Q:I use a controller and the keys are binded to the same thing.
A: You'll have to change the accelerate/decelerate buttons to something other than shoot/aim. If someone has a controller and wants to ping me on discord, i'm in one of the two modding servers and we could try and make a patch for it. Or, you can just turn off player weapons in the native ui menu.
Q: I don't see the Vehicle Combat mod tab.
A: Native Settings UI just got an update so it has pages now, you might need to cycle to the next page to see it.
I loved this mod when it was out. I know vehicle combat is in the game but my favourite part of this mod was the backup system, any chance of a standalone mod?
I've been looking for other mods that have a backup system no such luck. I'm really hoping for a standalone for the backup system, made the game so much more fun and immsersive.
The new police and vehicle combat system is alright. But I miss gangs calling up reinforcements and the spawns being dependent on logical factors like someone making a call rather than "just spawning." I antagonised the police several times, and the experiences never matched to the high-octane craziness I had with the mod. No mad dash across Heywood backstreets while hounded by police sirens, no jumping off Watson bridge in a frantic attempt to evade Max-Tac, no three-way war between V, the Raffens and Militech in the Badlands.
Scissors was the absolute GOAT of Cyberpunk modding. I had great fun in my 1.63 save with this mod, the reinforcement system really needs to be extracted from this mod and reintroduced to 2.0+.
Hey, I'm looking for a mod that unlocks most weapons while driving - I tried this one and couldn't get it to work on 2.12, does anyone know of an alternative mod? I hope it's okay to ask here
this mod is craaaazy, I burst out laughing when some 6th street reinforcements ran over the guy I was shooting, then 2 more cars full of people drove up and I K-hopped out of there. Combine this with your difficulty options mod, RMK's damage scaling, and Amateur hackers and its a real treat. This mod gives new life to patch 1.63 Thank you so much Scissors!
Man this mod looked like it was a ton of fun. This game is great but one of my biggest complaints was the wanted system not having any kind of realism to it. I mean s#*! you hide behind a box for 30 seconds and the stars are gone.
Might have to install the 1.63 version of the game and start a new save to try this! although it'll probably ruin the game. I hope the reinforcement system gets added to the game at some point or this genius releasses that feature standalone.
even after uninstalling when trying to switch camera view (its the same for me) i pull out my gun and changing my key bind i cant change the camera view basically im stuck in 1st person
рed4 при запуске показывает ошибку (игра правда все равно запускается ... но все же неприятно) кто то нашел решение ??? или может мод нуждается в обновлении ????????????????
Hello!. I tried to fix the call reinforcements feature of this mod because its preem and I want to bring it to latest version of cyberpunk2077 which is 2.02. The redscript now compiles upon replacing and commenting a bunch of code based on the updated game code logic.
I tested it and now the crowd and enemy calling progress bar appears and disappears when completed. Unfortunately, no new enemy spawns and you don't get a heat level either.
Upon checking the code again, I saw a line that gets its value from the TweakDB, specifically 'prevention_data'. Now, I opened Cyber Engine Tweaks from the 2 game version and this is what I found from version 1.63 and 2.02.
It looks like CDPR deleted or moved some of the data when they updated the game. Based on my understanding of the code inside this mod (correct me if I'm wrong), this data that is missing is the one the gives the player heat level based on the district/location and makes the enemy reinforcements spawn with vehicles like the police and maxtac. So in the end, I can't fix it. I just want to let other modders who will try to fix this mod on what I found and hope it helps in the future.
That's all I have to share on my experience on troubleshooting this mod. I hope in the future someone creates a mod like this or maybe CDPR updates the game and add this feature.

he should also fix the issue with not being able to use sandevistan or kerenzikov when doing a vehicle contract/driving a vehicle that isnt your own
Thank you so much Scissors!

Thanks for making this!
