Patch 2.2 compatibility: ? I don't know if the mod will require to be updated, but core frameworks (CET) will In the past, the first CET updates for a new patch have been prone to be not stable and missing important features used by mods, thus I recommend waiting until all core frameworks have been fully updated.
Wish there was a version that actually zoomed what you seei n the scope instead of zooming the entire camera clorer. It looks so weird when the weapon is still at the field of view.
Can anyone confirm that this is still working after the new patch? It doesn't seem to work for me, and I can't figure out what other mods I may have that conflict with this.
Works for me. Did you assign the hotkey? And I made a post standalone from this that's worth reading if you haven't downloaded yet. But I just had to assign the hotkey using the mod settings menu that's required for the mod and it worked. I haven't tested every scope though so maybe the scopes I like using are the ones that work and I just have no idea because I haven't tried others. Idk
When it didn't work, I tried and that didn't work, but I think I found the problem. It doesn't seem to work with any scope classed as legendary. Only Epic and lower.
So the mod works with the most recent update, as of 1/30/25, but with some scopes the mod doesn't zoom in centered and changes where the projectile goes in relation to the reticle. So you may put the reticle on target when zoomed in but the bullet travels I believe to the left of that. However that is only when zoomed in. And I haven't given it thorough testing on each scope because it's only one long range scope I use and the rest are on automatic weapons where they have projectile spread and high fire rate which makes it harder to track. It's good to use when you just want to get a closer look at everything, do some recon type of deal, then just zoom back out to make your shot. The problem ONLY happens when zoomed in, it does not affect accuracy just because the mod is installed. Doesn't need to scare people away from downloading in that sense because it still has it's advantages. Beats not zooming in at all. And if you become used to where the bullet goes because it is consistent, you can still get kills zoomed in with precision. It's basically moving the reticle without visually seeing the reticle moved. No randomness or inconsistencies, bullet is gonna go to the same spot every time. And if you don't zoom in it functions the same as vanilla. Great mod just hopefully that can be fixed soon if the mod is still being updated. Edit: Someone said changing weapon sway from on weapon to on camera fixes my problem with weapon inaccuracy. Haven't tested yet tho.
I'm using this awesome mod that allows me to toggle ADS, among other things, but it conflicts with zoomable scopes, since scopes will only zoom if the button is held. I looked through both mod's files, but the code is all beyond me. Does anyone know how to fix this? I'd love to use both mods.
Okay i made a quick fix. It completely get's rid of the "Is Aiming" Check, but i haven't yet noticed any issues. There is a better way to do this by Checking whether the Player is Aiming instead of whether the aim button is held, but i can't currently figure out how to implement this. To use this fix (and accept that this will likely produce some bugs somewhere, so back up all your saves and mods!!!!!), edit the bin/x64/plugins/cyber_engine_tweaks/mods/betterScopes/modules/observers.luato have isAds = true by default and remove the toggles from the Observer function. It should then look like https://pastebin.com/zce1gzme
I figured out how to get this mod to work with both Iron Sights and Scopes. All you have to do is change a 0 to a 1 in this file Imgur Image . You can find the correct line using the Imgur Image and Control+F. bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\mods\betterScopes\modules\observers.lua
Edit: I have played for over 24 hours of game time with this edit and it has been working perfectly.

For anyone searching, it's in the accessibility options in the settings.

Go into the game settings > accessibility menu and change Weapon Sway to "on weapon" to "on camera" to improve it.
I play with cet 1.31.3 and i see the mod and i can binding a key with CET in game but nothing happen ...
(and there is no folder "/r6" in this mod ?!)
