Dilation Strength: I wanted to make the Sandevistans actually slow time
Dynalar is balanced to T2 and is supposed to be a "standard" Sandevistan, hence the higher duration, 50% slowdown and lower cooldown.
Zetatech is balanced to T2 and is supposed to be an aerial Sandevistan bolstered heavily when airborne, and is supposed to be an enhanced version of the Dynalar Sandevistans.
QianT is balanced to T3 and is, as it's name, designed to make the player not take damage, the higher tiers negating almost all damage but only for a very short time with a hefty cooldown.
Falcon is balanced to T4 and is supposed to be the best Sandevistan on the market, designed to work with firearms and having a small bonus to health and duration each kill.
Apogee is balanced to T5 and is a prototype Sandevistan that is supposed to be the absolute peak of Sandevistan tech and therefore grants a 100% dilation in order to get the quicksilver feel, for a moderate amount of time and granting the ability for the player to stay in dilation forever as long as they have access to people to kill. (this isn't supposed to be balanced i just wanted a 100% dilation sandy and no one else would do it)
Crit Chance:
This is supposed to simulate the fact that you're moving super fast (i don't know how to make a DOT effect like TDO had, but the game itself doesn't take into account air resistance and that which is around you. IRL going this fast would instantly explode your organs, burn you alive and shred anyone around you.)
Duration:
I wanted to make each Sandevistan last for a long time, but using short bursts when on higher tiers.
Cooldown:
Do i really need to explain this one -_- The Warp Dancer has a 70sec cooldown, id like to use my Cyberware more than once each millennia.
Damage buffs:
Same as Crit Chance this was made to reflect high speeds.
Bonus to those who call into question my "skill" in a game made up of 0s and 1s with no weight in the real world. I play using my Hardcore22 - FacelessV1 Version mod, which makes the player die in 2-3 shots and the enemies in 3-5. Needless to say it's obviously on Very Hard mode and not an easy setup to run. Furthermore i use Simple XP Multiplier to remove the skills leveling up (like Shinobi).
I didn't make this mod out of frustration of being "bad" at a game i CHOOSE to make super hard. One of the first games i ever played was a Souls-Like, Code Vein, which i got as a present. I enjoy difficult games that tortures me, Cyberpunk isn't a hard game, it doesn't take anywhere near as much skill as beating Dark Souls or Sekiro.
Still, i appreciate everyone who comments on or downloads my mods. I decided to release these mods since i'll be switching PCs soon and these are custom mods i use personally. Everyone who engages in any way with my mod, whether you like it or not, download or not, comment or not, i still truly appreciate you. It makes me happy when others likes what i make, after all.
I'll be dropping a mod that properly "rebalances" the sandevistans, thinkin about callin it "Sandevistans Reworked". Seems like somethin y'all would like to have no?
If you wanted to take some inspiration from the blackwall OS mods. Ask the creator about using his D.O.T functionality. It's set up that per o.s. the D.O.T changes. I have it set up to be much less since im playing with the hardcore mod. 10% of health a second is death in 5 seconds. I had to change it to 2.5% or so loss of health.
Hey man, thanks for the great mod. I'm trying to tweak your settings a bit but can't seem to find the right thing. When I change some settings like dilution and strength, lets say I want to shoot with my gun, it takes a bit time to shoot the 2nd bullet out of the gun. I mean, I want to see the projectiles go slow, but guns fire as usual. How can I achieve this?
That shouldnt be a problem actually, when im testing with full auto weapons it has no delay between rounds fired, the delay from Semi auto isnt something i know how to fix, TDO is going to be updated soon so that will probably have a fix for fire rate. slap a vid here and ill take a look. Also make sure to edit the values so that you get the desired dilation. Its like a value of 100 if you want 70% dilation strength you do 100-70=30.
I quite like the Apogee Sandevistan but I (think) the duration is a bit buggy and the 100% time stop makes the physics a bit weird. Could you make a version with the S++ version of it having 99% instead of 100% slowdown?
Other than that, absolutely fantastic mod. Endorsed.
I think it would be cool if you made separate files for each sandi. I really like the changes with the zeta and Warp Dancer but I would like the rest of the sandi's to stay the same. And also have one file that has all of the changes as well for the people who just want all of them without having to download multiple files.
I can't believe that no one bothered to make Sandevistan version of "Better Kerenzikov" mod. This is the closest thing to it, just without in-game UI. I'm also playing on max-difficulty with full suite of weapon damage, weapon perk applicability, stealth and enemy rebalance mods that get me killed in 2-3 small shots or 1 big one (a sloppy encounter may end in under a second), so I heavily rely on Focus perk, Kerenzikov and other cyberware with slowdown attribute but vanilla Sandevistans are pretty useless to me, especially since they make you lose on cyberdecks. With easy manual edits from this maybe I can make them somehow useful. Now, if only there was something like that for Optical Camo too.
its a singleplayer game, let people do what they wanna do, im not gonna download it since i like how sandies work but let them do what they want its their *singleplayer* experience
Hi! So..when I use apogee it breaks the sandy systemn, I can't use it(nor other sandies). I think it's a bug because when I bought it at the ripper doc, everytime I press to "Upgrade to tier 5+" it upgrades to the regular game version, resulting in 90% time dillatation "upgraded" to 85%, aswell as lower crits and demage bonuses. Are there any fixes for it?
I just want to chime in and say I really like the idea behind the mod. Personally I skipped the sande in my second playthrough (on very hard) because it felt far too OP in my first playthrough. Any way you could allow configuration of the values? Even if it was out of the game using a text editor to change a config file. That way everyone can tune it to their wants.
Personally I'd love shorter cooldowns with shorter use. The bonuses are far too massive though. I think slowing time is a large enough gain. I'd probably tweak my numbers so the crit chance goes from 5% to maybe 20% and the crit damage from 10-50%... at least on a ranged build. Maybe with a melee build I'd want to bump up the crit damage up, IDK.
You actually can configure it to your liking in sort of the sense you described. Go on vortex, right click the mod, click "Open in File Manager". Then click through bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\mods and you should find a folder for each sandevistan, each folder containing a LUA file with the stat changes. These LUA files can just be edited with notepad. Each stat change is then labeled as such: --[something]. This is the full line for time dilation of the T5 Apogee:
You should then be able to edit the dilation factor by changing that 0.10 to what you want. Note that time dilation values are sort of inverted, 0.10 means 90% dilation, 0.05 means 95% dilation. Then there's a separate line lower down that edits the UI for the item.
Also, if you access the file as I described above; you will be editing the mod file that is staged in vortex. To change the file that's actually installed in the game, you will need to go to the games main file directory and then follow the same file path stated above. Though you should be able to edit the vortex file and then press deploy.

T5 Apogee:
TweakDB:SetFlat("Items.AdvancedSandevistanApogee_inline20.value", 0.10) --Time Dilation Strength
