If you have an issue getting CET to work, go on the discord and post in the support section for CET. #-cet-support
The discussion section and the comment section here are not for posting bugs or troubleshooting. (so the discussion forum was removed, as was the bug report section because we want the bug reports on the github page or on discord)
Again, the comment section is not for bug reports. If you have an issue, come onto the official modding Discord or post a bug report on the github page (CET not working for you is not a bug, that's a support issue and belongs on the discord)
If installing via vortex, make sure to use hardlink deployment. Before asking for help, remove all previous installations of CET and manually install the most recent version. Vortex screws up, a lot.
Added a new "mod" folder for loading modded archives. The modded archives can be named in any way and go into the "mod" folder now. Having mod archives in the "patch" folder is no longer supported.
This has nothing to do with cyber engine tweaks. It's for archive mods. All you have to do is rename the previous patch folder that you had your archive files in to mod and they'll work.
Cyber engine tweak mods still go in the bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\mods folder like they did before.
I repeat, this has nothing to do with Cyber Engine Tweaks. If you have an issue with cyber engine tweaks, join the discord and post in the CET-Support channel.
Also has nothing to do with redscript. Those files still go in r6/scripts
I'm trying to activate a cut gig which I believe can be accessed from the debug menu.
When I click on "Enable Debug Menu", nothing special happens. And clicking on "~" at this point also doesn't work. (Even if I have bound this mod to a different key.)
This mod is so bleeding easy to install & uninstall, I can't digest how there are so many people having trouble! So me friend & I made a video explaining how simple it is to make this work & it is THOROUGH! There are no complexities here. A monkey could do it!
Your Discord failed to let me access it. "You find yourself in a strange place. There are not text fields you have access to..."
So hopefully someone sees this.
<1.21 Support> produces a game breaking error when the game launches. It tells me to add <game.CETMM = require 'cet_mod_manager/init'> as the second line of the autoexec.lua file in '...\bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\scripts'
Yet that fails to actually solve whatever is causing the error. Relaunching the game produces the exact same error window. The error window suggests that I just replace the file with the one in the mod but that file has the same problem.
The error window itself refuses to go away. Hence, how it breaks the game.
First of all, I want to thank you for this awesome feature! I'm enjoying very much and I trying to find all the thing you can do with it on the game. Yet, I would like to ask something: I got the push and third person mod, but I'm unable to bind them to my controller as the engine only recognize the keyboard. My controller is tied to Steam, and the game can recognize it and I can play with it. But I'm unable to bind the mods to the controller in any way. Is that something tied more to the mods themself or there is a workaround I can do to make the engine able to bind the controller?
I know how to update it but, is it that much difficult to write some info about updating on the description page for people who are not very familiar with mods ??? Don't tell me about the wiki, ok !!!
I've actually read that it's best and safest to delete all old CET files/folders, rather than just overwrite old files/folders (if you come across any problems).

Im sure there is another step like enabling the console?

What is my next step?

For sharing your time, grateful am I.
Is this new mod version (1.12.2) still work with the previous game version (1.20)?
Thanks for answer!

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common
and drag and drop the 'bin' folder to your 'Cyberpunk 2077' folder, and let it overwrite all the files there.
