If you have an issue getting CET to work, go on the discord and post in the support section for CET. #-cet-support
The discussion section and the comment section here are not for posting bugs or troubleshooting. (so the discussion forum was removed, as was the bug report section because we want the bug reports on the github page or on discord)
Again, the comment section is not for bug reports. If you have an issue, come onto the official modding Discord or post a bug report on the github page (CET not working for you is not a bug, that's a support issue and belongs on the discord)
Follow the guide before asking for help on the discord.
If installing via vortex, make sure to use hardlink deployment. Before asking for help, remove all previous installations of CET and manually install the most recent version. Vortex screws up, a lot.
Note: We will only provide support for legitimate updated copies of the game and CET. If you're using an older version, you're on your own.
How can i reset or change the hot key. It has been a while since i played cyberpunk 2077 and I have no idea what hotkey I have set for the overlay, and now I cannot find it. Where can I find what kind of hotkey I have set for CET?? seriously I can't find it anywhere anymore
Go to Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks and delete this file "bindings.json"
Keep in mind, if you choose this method, you are deleting all keybinds that you have/had saved inside the CET/Bindings tab, so you will need to redo all of them.
[ 2 ] Editing the "bindings.json" file. Using any text editor (i.e. Notepad; Notepad++, etc), open up the "bindings.json" file. (found in: Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks) Look for the lines: "cet": { "overlay_key": xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Note: The "xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" shown in the code above will show as numbers for you (at least they should). Change this number to zero (aka "0"). Save and close the text editor. You should now once again, get the prompt to set a keybind for CET the next time you launch the game, and your other saved CET-Bindings will be intact.
my issue is that the file i download from here DOESNT INCLUDE A BINDINGS.JSON FILE! i keep seeing people say to edit or delete that file but the fresh version of the mod i download FROM nexus DOESNT even include the bindings.json file!?
Because you don't have the file when you download the mod - it's created automatically on the first ever run. If you don't have it in your game folder then it means either it's not installed properly or you're running unsupported game version. No lol here - a homework to do.
If I use CET on a cross progression save from the switch will it corrupt the save when I try to use it on the switch? I wanted to just give myself the Nus armor and get some perk & skill points.
Hey, is there a list of possible key codes to use for hotkeys in bindings.json? I'm trying to bind CET hotkey to my controller, but CET doesn't recognize controller inputs in-game, so I gotta add the hotkey manually into bindings.json.
This mod do not work on Version 2.21 nothing happening. have push all keys on the keyboard, nothing going on, i do not even a mod menu in the main menu. how do peoples this?! but thos CET is crap do not work on version 2.21 damned
I would recommend holding your temper and turning to troubleshooting, as clearly something is wrong with your configuration. I'd start from the top Sticky Post here. BTW: It works not only for me, but also for thousands of my CET based mods users...
I am having trouble getting the CET to show up. i get a notification that that says key unbound or something like that. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the mod but i keep getting the same thing.
For some reason, in my CET bindings hotkeys, I have cyber tweaks, I have appearance mod menu hot keys and LUT switcher Hot Keys, but any other mod does not show customizable hot keys there. I don't know how to get them to show up Please help
Как скачать предыдущую версию? Я установил самую последнюю версию игры, которую смог найти, но CET 1,35,1 все равно в ней не работает. Как мне скачать хотя бы версию 1,35,0?
downloaded both the cyber engine tweaks and the hotscenes mods, put them in the cyberpunk folder but when i launch the game the overlay never shows up. Using version 2.2 as it says in the description "Supported version: 2.2"

Examples~
My current "bindings.json" file:
{
"NeonRims_ColorControl": {
"blc_next_preset": 0,
"blc_preset_hotkey1": 52917295621603328,
"blc_preset_hotkey2": 53480245575024640,

"cet": {

"flashlight": {

},
"skip_radio_song": {
"skipCurrentSong": 16044073672507392
}
}
After I edited (to get the CET keybind prompt):
{
"NeonRims_ColorControl": {
"blc_next_preset": 0,
"blc_preset_hotkey1": 52917295621603328,

They only appear if the mod’s author specifically added them in their code.
