*BMM is backward compatible with all existing ModTek Mods. As long as the mod developer followed the traditional use of mod.json files in the designated mod folder.

*BMM can install mods for you by dragging and dropping the mod into the designated window on the home tab or Mods tab. So long as the mod
developer followed the packaging instructions found here.

Terminology:

BattletechModLoader (BTML) - is an injection tool produced by MPstark and maintained by the RogueTech team, which uses something called Harmony to enable modifications to the Battletech game without needing to change a game's original files. Janxious Version of Modtek includes this now!

ModTek - is another tool produced by MPstark and is now maintained by Janxious. It offers additional functionality to mod developers, and is required to ensure a given BTML mod works. BMM installs and manages this for you!

Modtek mods - ModTek mods cannot work without BTML, therefore any mod using ModTek must use BTML so all Mods using the two tools will be referred to as Modtek mods. These are the mods you are looking for.

Battletech Mod Manager (BMM) - is a tool for simplifying and enhancing the management of ModTek mods.

What can I do with BMM?

1) Automatically download, install, inject, and update Modtek/BTML.
2) Automatically install ModTek mods by drag and droping on the home tab or mods tab.
3) Enabled and disable Mods with the click of a button.
4) Easily delete mods.
5) Review the publisher and version dates of each mod.
6) manually re-inject BTML with a single button press.
