    This mod should be compatible with other mods as long as they don't modify the progression table for 1st level Warlocks.

    Is this mod compatible with other mods?
    Yes. Unless it changes the Warlock progression table for level 1, it should be compatible. If another mod does change the progression table, i.e. it's another Warlock related mod, I recommend using Compatibility Framework, which allows compatibility between subclasses. Any issues related to that mod should be directed to its comments section. This mod features innate support for that mod, and requires Script Extender to function.



    Why doesn't the subclass show up in character creation?
    You probably either:
    1) Didn't install it properly. Take a look at the installation guide at the end of the mod description.
    or
    2) Haven't updated all your mods. Make sure that ImprovedUI and Script Extender in particular are up-to-date.
    or
    3) Have other mods that overwrite it. Please place Community Library at the very top of your load order, and Compatibility Framework at the very bottom. If that doesn't work, try placing this mod further down in the load order. If the problem still persists, disable all other addons except the ones required by this mod, enable your mods one by one, and see which one is causing the issue.



    X happens when I do Y, even though it shouldn't. Why?
    Your other mods are most likely causing a conflict. The first thing you would need to do is to update each and every single one of your other mods to make sure they're not the ones causing the problem. If you've done that and the issue persists, try respeccing out of this subclass before updating it, then respec back. If that doesn't help, disable all mods apart from the required ones and enable your them one by one to see which one is causing problems. Once you've done that and the issue still persists, you are welcome to open a bug report.

    My mods are designed to be as non-dependent on other mods as possible, and I'm not responsible for issues appearing when playing with multiple mods. I will not go out of my way to accommodate or implement workarounds to make it compatible with mods other than the ones listed in the Required files section. If the authors of other mods that cause conflicts wish to do so, they may. 



    Can you make a version where everything is unlocked by the time you reach level 12?
    No.



    Will you make a custom class icon? I demand a custom subclass icon/I can't stand seeing blank space.
    The blank space in place of an icon is because I haven't included a custom one. I have no plans to do so at the moment. We'll see if I have the time and energy to spare in the future.

    I know Patch 8 makes the new subclasses not show up. CompatibilityForOfficialClass works wonders in the meantime, so use that one if you want to keep using my mods and have the new subclasses show up too.

    Got advice for anyone having issues with the First Vampire not showing up, while having other Warlock pacts.

    Always load the First Vampire LAST in relation to other Warlock Pact mods.

    Example: I have the Celestial and the Fathomless from two other modders.The First Vampire didn't show up in any form and I had issues with it.
    It was fixed when I moved the First Vampire after those other two mods.

    The load order is: the Celestial -> the Fathomless -> the First Vampire

    Hello, thank you for this satisfaying mod ! If I'm not interested in Eternal Night at 14th level, is there any reason to go further than 10th level in this class ?

    Hi! Nice mood I really like it, just wondering if the description of Drain Life is correct, as it says that will heal me for the damage done (both with and without spell slot) but only heals when a spell slot is used, is that correct?

      I second this. I've noticed that the cantrip version has healing in the tooltip as well, but on the description page, it appears as if it's only meant to heal when you expend a slot.

      The spell slot version heals you while the other one does not. The information is added to the "cantrip" version to let you know that if you spend a spell slot, you heal for the damage dealt.

    What is the go-to build for this? I'm thinking it's grabbing All Elemental Adept at Baldur's Gate 3 Nexus - Mods and community to ignore Necrotic resistance and damage rolls of 1 for a feat, and OneDnD Warlock - Pact of the Blade at Baldur's Gate 3 Nexus - Mods and community to give a blade conjured by you Necrotic damage and use your CHA once you hit level 3. That way, you can be in melee to make rampant use of Drain Life. The invocation Armor of Shadows makes up for not having medium armor like a Hexblade.

    Levels 1 - 3 rock Chill Touch, invest in Devil's Sight and Armor of Shadows. After that, Darkness is used for advantage and protection until Shadow of Moil. Or, pick up Warlock Spell List Fixer at Baldur's Gate 3 Nexus - Mods and community to fix this and other subclasses so that 5e Spells at Baldur's Gate 3 Nexus - Mods and community show up with them all and grab Spirit Shroud. If you don't need the protection, you can swing 2d6+CHA, +1d8 (2d8 at 9th), +1d6+CHA (or 1d8+1d8/level if using a spell slot) of necrotic damage ignoring resistance and never rolling 1 on damage. Seems pretty good to me. 23 a swing on average. Or 28 if Spirit Shroud triggers on the Drain Life. Shoots up to 42 if a spell slot is used with a 3rd level slot.

    Hello! For some reason when I have both your mod and Lumaterian's The Celestial subclass only the one that is loaded the latest in BG3MM is showed up in CC.

    Notes :
    I have Compability Frameworks loaded as the last mod and Community Library as the very first.
    I have other Warlock subclasses mod and they all appear no matter which one of TFV or TC are loaded last and appear.

    Would you have an idea of why this is happening and hopefully a fix?

      I FIXED IT :D

      For anyone reading it and facing a similar issue, I did two things to fix it:
      I installed compability framework subclasses patches and put it just above compability framework as the second last loaded mod in BG3MM.

      Then I changed my warlock subclasses orders in BG3MM to this Dread Overlord --> Dread Overlord Addon --> Hexblade --> Hexblade invocations --> The Celestial --> The Celestial Archfey Tag --> The First Vampire. You most likely don't have the exact same mod but it was another mod author that gave me their order which had some mods I didn't have and lacked some I had that I followed and worked so try to follow it as much as you can and see if it works.

    How does your character look like that in the images? Specifically the staff and outfit?

      The staff is called 'Woe'. It's the one Cazador wields during his boss fight. No idea about the outfit though. Maybe something from Basket of Equipment?

      Most warlock subclass mods need special consideration for each and every modded spell to be added to their spell list. It's a lot of work for
      authors on both sides to keep up with. Warlock Spell List Fixer should handle it for this and other great warlock subclasses.

      Thank you for linking that mod!! I was troubleshooting for hours & ready to tear my hair out. Maybe the havsglimt can include it as a soft requirement?
