I'm sorry I know this was answered previously but still kind of confused on the answer.. so is this compatible with 5e spells if I download spells extra?? you said there will be duplicate spells if "you add them to the list" what do you mean by that can you explain?? not sure what adding to the list means I use enemy spells mod which adds 5e spells to enemies is that what you mean by adding to list???
Sure. To clarify, this mod will not get spells from 5e Spells. It is not incompatible, as in if you use 5e Spells as well nothing bad will happen, but this subclass will not be able to select them.
i get that but bg3 also changed this for draconic sorc, seems in line, but your mod. still, i think your older version had it like draconic sorc bg3, could you perhaps leave that version available?
It should be, the targeting info also lies sometimes but usually not about this. combat log will always tell you the correct DC, the calculation might be wrong but the result will be right. so you can quickly test if its working.
so my subclass spells like guiding bolt were finally scaling of INT but then stopped. I tested the chance to hit and it was the same as EB for a bit but then i saw guiding bolt had a lower chance to hit just now.
so healing light is scaling off of int but nothing else related to the subclass. Edit: its working again, its all the same chance to hit but it also keeps changing for some reason
Hello! For some reason when I have both your mod and havsglimt's The First Vampire subclass only the one that is loaded the latest in BG3MM is showed up in CC.
Notes : I have Compability Frameworks loaded as the last mod and Community Library as the very first. I have other Warlock subclasses mod and they all appear no matter which one of TFV or TC are loaded last and appear.
Would you have an idea of why this is happening and hopefully a fix?
Oh thanks, though, I just added it and put it as the second last just before Compability Frameworks like it's indicated on the file description but the issue remains the same :(
Was hoping it was going to be that, First Vampire has this issue a lot. I've looked at it and I've got no idea why, but check the comments/bugreports on that page and you may find an answer.
All I can tell you is I use both (this and First Vampire) and they work for me. My order is Community Library/Hexblade/Celestial/First Vampire/Undying Light/Undead.
Following your order fixed it! I don't have all the mods you mentioned so I went Dread Overlord --> Dread Overlord Addon --> Hexblade --> Hexblade invocations --> The Celestial --> The Celestial Archfey Tag --> The First Vampire.
And now every Warlock Subclass appears :) All my other grab subclasses at level 1 classes works as well, only need to grab a mod to cheat my way to level 3 and respec just to see if all classes with later grab works as well.
I am considering adding a Cleric/Paladin tag & Deity choice thing since I have so many celestial/divine themed subclass mods. I just need to figure out a decent way to do it.
However you can use Deity For All or similar, I think.
As much as I'd love to get this to work, it doesn't. I've had the load order accurate (CL, lib mods, subclasses, CF), and I've tried out the various subclass comp patches to see if anything works, and it doesn't.
I assume the comp patches just don't support THIS version of the Celestial Warlock yet? It doesn't work with or w/out them.
Yes, the compatibility patch hasn't been updated yet. I'll be updating mine today, but mine is a non-SE one. Right now the only way this works is the 'traditional' way, as the only Warlock subclass.
I forgot how I did it but I was able to get it to work with Dread Overlord Warlock subclass. So It is possible its just been a few days so I don't remember how I did it exactly.
hello! just wondering if this mod only works with spells extra or would it also function with the 5e spells mod? since the functionality of the two is the same
How does this stack up against Fluffydragon's version ? I've been using that one for a while and don't really have any issues with it, and I'd rather not risk messing up a save if this one isn't any different.
Basically very similar, mine just goes to level 20. If you're already using that one and it works, I wouldn't feel pressured to swap. Though in my experience it's fairly painless to swap subclasses in and out, just spec out of it and do the changeover. Either way, thanks for the interest :)
Edit: Oh mine also works without SE/CF, if that's important

Thanks you so much!
To get to level 3 quickly I recommend The Debug Book

You can use 5e Spells/anything else to fill the lists for other stuff, or you can use the lists file for Spells Extra, either works.
