Wow, I want to confirm that the mod works great for me. Thanks so much. I legit had an issue where I couldn't push someone in the way I wanted unless I moved which would cause an opportunity attack and I was so frustrated. this fixes that issue. Crazy that it wasn't already in the game.

I can see why this exact thing wasn't done, as the targeting can be extremely finicky and bounce around a lot, which is probably a nightmare for accessibility concerns and just not very smooth overall. And I've no idea how the targeting works with controllers and whether it'd be compatible with how that system does targeting.

Although I really wish they'd just fix the requirement of needing the angle shifting in the first place, by just allowing things to be pushed/pulled until they hit something and then just fall down rather than just prevent them from moving at all if it thinks they can't land at the calculated final position. There's so many times where I've tried to set up the ability to pull/push someone off of edges, and it just won't let me, presumably because the calculated final position is actually onto the unpathable terrain around the hole, rather than it being far enough to reach what I assume is something like an invisible kill floor at the bottom.

I'm not 100% sure, but it feels like they've started implementing something like that, as I did run into a couple of times recently where I've 'hit' geometry during a jump and just stopped and fallen down, which I don't remember ever happening near release (although I might have just never ended up in a situation where it would have happened previously). It was particularly noticeable in the Wizard Tower, where you have to go down some floating furniture, and my character kept smacking their head on the ceiling after jumping and getting a bit stuck in place; and I've had a summon hit some geometry during a jump and then fall to their death when they were following me.

One way to fix the push is to make it drag and drop with a limit. The same way you can drag a crate or anything then drop it. click and drag the npc to push.

Unfortunately not easily, currently all the mod does is switch the spells to use a different force-direction preset (switching them from using 'OriginToEntity' over to 'OriginToTarget'). The actual presets aren't accessible themselves as far as I know, so it's not something you can access to change the angle calculation by doing something like multiplying it by 2 or something to make it more extreme.
