    Automatic Mod Integration

    You can now integrate whatever mods you want with equipment, and use any version of those mods to do so!
    Use REL Generator to do this. This is a special software for Win x64 that allows you to integrate your installed equipment mods directly into REL. See the software page for more information.
    Note that this is a feature for Full/Light version users only.

    Hey! First of all, awesome mod, I'm super eager to use it.

    Unfortunately, I didn't manage to have it work while keeping some objects in the tutorial chest.

    I'm using "Randomized Equipment Loot - Light(Vanilla)" with "Randomized Equipment Loot Generator One Click" where I ticked a couple of mods, and flagged some as "Tutorial Chest".

    According to the documentation, I put REL quite low in the loading order, with the one I want to appear in the tutorial chest below that.

    But unfortunately, the tutorial chest is always empty.

    Here is my load order:

      First of all, check the Mods folder and get rid of unnecessary REL files. I see you downloaded three different versions. You should also use v3 with the generator. Tut chest summoning is best put at the very top.

      In my mod folder, there is only one REL, the one appearing here. And as far as I know, it's the v3, or?

      I tried with the TutorialChestSummoning in position 20, and same output.

      Have you tried disabling mods one by one to see under what condition things start working properly?

      I found the issue. It's pretty strange to me, but at least I found it :smile:

      The mod manager I use only rewrite the  <node id="ModOrder"> part of the modsettings.lsx file according to the ordering in the UI, yet the         <node id="Mods"> part is only changed when importing a new mod, which is then appended at the end of the list.

      So here, even though "BagsBagsBags" was in order after REL, as I installed it first it was before in the Mods list. And that caused the issue.

      to the beginning of the Mods list, and now it works, without changing the ModOrder list.

    So, are enemies supposed to drop random items? Cause so far all items have been the same, but certain enemies that drop specific items or chests with certain items (Harpy nest for example) have had random items. But common enemies, chest and other lootables have been pretty much standard, only giving small items like gold and other useless junk.

    Am I right to assume that the only things that are changed are special enemies like bosses, and certain loot containers?

      What is your meaning of "all items"?

      I think if you have such a question, it means that you misunderstood the essence of the mod, or installed it incorrectly. Explain what effect you want to achieve and I will be able to help you.

    is there an already existing video tutorial or can someone make one? i am personally really struggling trying to figure out how to download and configure the mod to get it working

      Dude I'm seriously so glad you made this post b/c I have actually been trying to figure this out for about a week myself. So I got it up and running last week but I'm pretty sure it did not get all of the stuff or anywhere close. So I did the generator, for REL Light, I used the 4 gear mods from Para, the Author, I'm pretty sure, and a couple others like Eldritch or Eldertide Armaments I think its called, buyt also the 4 others were the Ancient Weaponry, Ancient Armour, Cloaks, and then the Jewelry. When the generator found everything it was all cool, but then i clicked the go button or whatever it does, and the end result was only like 100 something mods being used, why did it do that? Why did it not add all of the things I selected for it to use? Is it because they are already added to the REL Light? Also, to make things even more confusing, I just today had read on the file pages for the 4 gear mods mentioned, the roleplay version is the one thats supposed to work in the generator to be randomized throughout the bg3 world, well it says on the roleplay version that if you are going to use the roleplay versions of the previously mentioned 4 gear mods, you have to use the REL Ancient. That messed me up a good bit. Anyway, I did check the mindflayer on the game I said i got it working finally but the problem was that again, it did not actually randomize all the gear from all the gear mods I wanted to use, it took like somewhere around 600 or 1k and reduced it to 100. Please make some sense of this to me bc I am desperate to play with this mod this is the coolest sounding thing I've come across so far in the modding community and I spend hours some days just looking around, digging for something unique. This is it, I think all future playthroughs defdinitely start right here, but please talk to us in more detail on how to effectively get started and people hopefully wont give up on trying to get everything working. Thanks mate! Looking forward to your response, please provide plenty of information bc lots of us im sure are gonna be ready to follow detailed instructions to get it going and finally enjoy this badass mod.

      There's going to be quite a bit of content for a video, but I'm sure someone will record a guide like this. Too many different options, better tell me what you want to achieve.

      What i want to achieve is just being able to play with all the gear that comes from those mods you created and not just 108. Why is it saying only 108? Incase you didn't see also heres my more in depth reply to your reply to me from another post. It might make sthings a little easier to understand, bc it doesn't get any plainer than this:
      Do you have to use the REL Ancient if you use your roleplay versions of the 4 gear mods YOU created? When I use only YOUR 4 gear mods and then run the REL generator, it show like hundreds and hundreds of gear so i have everything clicked and then it does itsa thing but then the final result it says is only 108 files or listings or whatever they call it. I've seen others say this same thing here so why is it doing that? And also, when I tried to use the REL Ancient it would not use it it said couldn't find or something like that so I switched to YOUR Optional file, REL Light and it did work with that but again, it only added 108, is this just because the other gear from YOUR 4 gear mods, (Masters cloaks, ancient jewlery, ancient weaponry, and ancient armor), is already in there ready to go?  I did get it working and everything and yes the mind flayer at the very beginning had a ranbdom piece of loot on him but theres no way to know if all the loot i want throughout the game is actually there and not just 108 pieces of loot being used and randomized.       If you don't plan to integrate any other mods and randomize vanilla, Ancient REL will do. If not, look at other versions.

      You are asking a question on the Generator, that is not my area of responsibility, I did not write that code and it is not my mod. Please read the nicknames of mod authors more carefully.

    I dont know if im fucking it up or what but it feels like very few things are random. Im using the full version, used the generator and it read my mods. I get a bunch of empty chest or chest with only 10-20 gold. People who should have gear are either missing it or one item in their inventory is random but the rest is regular. The mindflayer in the opening has a random item but all the other mobs (non-unique goblins, shadow cursed, gith) all have the same s#*! they usually do. Gith have gith weapons, goblins have goblin weapons, etc. Chests that usually have materials all have the usual materials. It just feels like a neutered version of the game.

      What other mods do you have installed? Show a screenshot of the list of mods in B3MM. It would also be nice to know how you installed the mod, what steps you took.

    Hello. After using REL should items still show up in tutorial chest? Mindflayer had uncommon magical item on him but loot is still there in tutorial chest.

      Depends on what kind of loot you have in mind. Most likely you misunderstood the point or incorrectly set the order of the mods.

      I fixed it. Didn't realize anciant version is not supported by random generator. Thats why some items were showing in chest. Not that i had many outside ancient rings, jewelry, weaponry...

    sorry I can't find this answer anywhere so I would appreciate it if someone could confirm:
    Can REL Relaxed generate the same loot in merchant stock multiple times if I already bought the first item? For example a quest-reward Spellsparkler quarterstaff can be bought multiple times if I re-roll the merchant enough times (by long rest or leveling up)

    also, can it even generate a quest-reward equipment like Spellsparkler?

      No, it doesn't work that way. All items are unique, so they can only spawn once.

      also, can it even generate a quest-reward equipment like Spellsparkler?
      I don't quite get it, it already does that.

      So the REL Relaxed version can allow merchants to spawn unique quest-exclusive items even if we have already obtained the item from the vanilla quest reward? E.G. I  chose Spellsparkler as my quest reward and any merchant I reroll may still sell it but only once and never again?
      If YES:
      What if I reroll the merchant before buying the unique item? Will it spawn again in the future?

      No, it's not. Relaxed only randomizes merchant loot, but adds integrated mods and cut content in there.

      What if I reroll the merchant before buying the unique item? Will it spawn again in the future?
      If you've already seen an item from a merchant, it's not going anywhere. If you haven't looked at the assortment, it will go back into the pool the next time you take a long rest.

    Some questions;

    1# How do I know that the mod is working? The merchants should have way different items to sell? (Is mentioned in the faq)
    2# Do I have to start a new game? (Is also mentioned in the faq)

    3# The REL One Click mod is required, but isn't that mod only used for making/combining modded items? Because I'm not using any modded items. I just want loot randomized from the base game, and this mod should be the only thing required, yes?

      True, except I don't know why you would need a vanilla-only randomizer. The vanilla pool is too small, it will cause a lot of problems with loot generation.

    Hello, i wanna ask if anyone happens to know if its save to use this mod in mid game/or delete, specifically if i delete it after some time will item pool became same as unmoded, really wanna try mod, but little scared v.v
