Description

This is a series of patches to allow subclasses from Laserllama's Alternate Fighter that already have mods for the 5e versions of the subclass to integrate and be compatible with Buns' Alternate Fighter mod and receive the appropriate exploits and abilities as they level. 

The currently released patches are:

For both versions of Sumradagnoth's Arcane Archer one without Ever Ready Shot and one which unlocks it at level 10 to fit into BG3's leveling system. Both of these patches use the Sylvan Archer Exploit progression from the Alternate Fighter homebrew.

The enhanced progression version of Wesslen's Echo Knight which fits all features into BG3's levels. I have not released a version with the RAW progression as currently Alternate Fighter cannot level that high and I wanted to stick to the versions by the original creators. This patch uses the Shadowdancer Exploit progression from the Alternate Fighter homebrew

While both of the above Alternate Fighter versions do have progression and other minor changes from 5e this is simply a patch to make both mods work together properly. I have changed no effects and have not altered what level you receive what abilities so you will recieve and select exploits at the level described in the Alternate Fighter homebrew and receive subclass abilities and effects as per 5e or where the original author deviated.

Bonnaventura's Samurai subclass as well as his Samurai Shogun variant using the Ronin Exploit progression from Alternate Fighter. In addition as I find Samurai very underwhelming when limited to 12 levels and since Alternate Fighter cannot presently pass level 12 I have also moved Rapid Strikes from 15 down to 12 in the regular version as a capstone to the class. Normally I don't like changing other creators works but as this mod is no longer being supported or worked on I felt I needed to give it something to enhance it. Only use one of the two patches as they will overwrite one another.

Rune Knight originally by Nevak and then updated and fixed by Dragonify03. This patch is based on Runecarver and does not receive any extra Exploits but can still pick Exploits at levels 2,3,5,7,9, and 11. In addition as the original mod's saving throws on it's runes did not work properly they now use your Exploit DC (8+Proficiency+The higher of Strength and Dexterity)

At user request I have also started adapting subclasses that don't have Alternate Fighter versions the current patches for these are:

DarkFieryVortex's Brute (UA) subclass, as this has no source material to go off of I had to choose exploits that I thought fit the theme and class fantasy. To that end the Brute recieves Commanding Presence and Ruthless Strike at level 2, Concussive Blow and Rending Strike at level 5, and Disorienting Blow at level 9 as well as being able to choose exploits at the same levels as the base class and recieving a second Alternate Fighter fighting style at level 10. Because there is no progression difference between the Brute RAW and Relaxed versions this patch will work with either.

SixFingeredMage's Psi Warrior
 subclass, as this class is one of the most different in Alternate Fighter I had to choose a list of exploits to give to fit the theme and class fantasy. To that end at level 2 I've given them Scholarly Recall to lean into the Int and knowledge based skills and Sweeping Strike to sort of emulate a Psionic trick to allow you knock enemies off balance with your abilities. At level 5 I've given Martial Focus to allow you to reroll an attack roll as your Psionic abilities augment your accuracy and Warriors Challenge to Psionically impel an enemy to focus on you and give disadvantage on attacks against others. And finally at level 9 you get Warcry to project your psionic might and influence so strongly that you can terrify and disarm your foes.


These are only Patches and as such require both Alternate Fighter and whichever subclass mods you're trying to make compatible. Nothing will work if either is absent and if missing the subclass mod parent file you will either not be able to select them or possibly crash upon reaching level 3 as a fighter.
