About this mod
Wanting and learning to mod? There seems to be no clear cut instructions and figuring it out for yourself does seem rather daunting. With a starting point there was a lot I had to figure out for myself. 3 days of learning and trial and error. Hopefully this takes a lot of the error out of the trial. Good luck!

His mods began my modding journey. Even though his mods say they are tutorials, they really aren't. It assumes you have more knowledge about BG3 modding than coming in not knowing a single thing. There is A LOT I had to figure out on my own through trial and error even with the information he supplied in his.
So here, this really is a step by step tutorial. Not only step by step but a visual step by step. My hope is that this is easy enough to understand for anyone and everyone and helps you at least just a little bit with being successful at modding for your first time.
NOW - This is a BASIC tutorial for BASIC mod creation for a single item. 1 weapon. AND we are using vanilla in game assets. No custom visuals, icons, sound, etc etc etc... That is beyond my ability and I cannot help you there in ANY way. I suggest you look at AnteMaxx's sample mods because there is information in both of his sample mods that somewhat tell you about custom visuals, icons, passives and abilities creation and such. I also suggest you look in to Larian's Discord channel. There is a modding channel full of individuals willing to assist.
I also suggest you look at Padme's tutorial mods as she gets into Blender and visual modding.

So again, Basic Modding. Creating 1 weapon. Step by Step. Your journey begins.
