It's such a shame her armour is non-lootable. Glad someone fixed the problem ;) Good thing Minthara is a companion, because that makes her armour lootable xd
Drow armours in this game have such a good design it is a shame there are so few of them. And no heavy version (are there even medium version?) or mage robes. And there aren't that many unique light armours in general. Or barbarian armours. Or monk's... And bard outfits kinda suck :v I love this game, but mods are sometimes needed.
And seriously, Araj is such an annoying character I will never meet her in the city xd
I've been saying for a long time that I wanted Araj's armor! And it matches the drow armor found in the underdark; I love it! Can we also have a version that's dyed like Araj's too? I've been trying to match the way its dyed and I don't think its possible.
I could have sworn that it's the same as hers by default- I'll take a look as soon as I can lol. I also plan on seeing if can get to take on the dye pattern from the Spidersilk armor

Also, if you don't mind, is there a chance to have the skirts of the drow armor but with the arm guards of Araj's armor? That would be a dope combination.
I like that idea. I'll see if I can make it happen, but what I've come to find out is that clothes with moving parts seem to go crazy when edited and put back in the game again
My current Tav has had this armor on literally the whole run because it looks SO freaking good!! I started playing around with the new stats a bit and they feel pretty OP for where I am though (end for Act 2) so I have to stop using it. 😔
Two big asks: one, could we have the original stat list back as a different rarity? (Like how this ranger armor has better stats for better rarities) And two, is it possible to remove the VFX for the Stealthier condition? It's the same sort of effect that the Shadespell Circlet has where it poops out a gigantic black cloud nonstop unless you're standing in direct light, and none of the VFX remover mods touch that to my knowledge. Thank you!!

I'm still getting the smoke VFX, but the overhead text showing when Stealther gets applied/removed is gone now (which is also nice, lol). The armor also got its rarity updated but it still has the more powerful stat list. I'm only getting one armor and one camp in the tutorial chest so I don't know if this was meant to have the two armors with different rarities.
You're welcome! You know, if you're interested, you can change stats on almost any weapon or armor. The instructions from the Hack Your Equipment and Backet Full of Equipment seem to work on any armor and any mod. It's just changing information on a simple txt. file. You can make some wild stuff lol
This is great!! I agree with the desc LOL, the big shoulders parts on the drow armor always put me off from using it so I always preferred the worn variant you can find in Waukeens Rest, so this is definitely another alternative I'll be using!
Can you possibly make this so the OG version is sold by Araj herself? I like to be able to grab these in a more "lore-friendly" way. No worries if you have no interest.
I also think (most) armor shoulders are ridiculous looking. I also LOVE this armor, it has details that other iterations of the drow armors normally available do not. Thanks so much for adding it! While the stats/effects on the armor are OP, they are ridiculously fun as is and add a lot for RP.
Personally I really enjoy the smoke and the armor as is from the initial upload (I downloaded 01/03/2024), so if you do change the armor, can you always keep an original in there? Or keep the original upload available as an optional file? (edit: Please and thank you! Love this so much I forgot my manners! lol) I just really love what you made initially.
I also have a sort of solution for those who don't want to use the stats/visual. If you use this armor with Transmog Enhanced (another easy/friendly mod on Nexus), you can use the visual of the armor without stats and thus without the smoke effect (since it's from "stealthier" when you're in shadow). Any armor that is transmogged carries the stats of the armor the character is wearing and replaces only the visual with whichever you choose. For example, want to use the Potent Robe, but look like Araj? That can happen. No smoke, no spells, etc just Potent Robe things. Basically with transmog, you can progress with vanilla equipment (or even other modded equipment), but look great the entire time. Possibilities are (almost) endless. So there is always that option.
I think the OP armors are still there actually! The 'Araj's Armor and Camp Clothes' and 'Araj Armor no VFX' are the ones with the better stats. But I agree, keeping it as a download option would be great. I always like having a choice between a 'balanced' and a 'fun' armor!
And to add onto the visual changes, I found out that Less Annoying Magic Effects can remove the smoke VFX! I don't use transmog so that worked for me.
Aw, I wish I knew how. I got rid of some of the code in text file, but I think it's somewhere deeper in the coding. The latest version should be smoke free
I love this mod so much! The shoulder pads on the normal drow armor are nonsense. May I ask if the boots and gloves in the pics are also from Araj or are they the standard drow equipment?

AC +2
Stealth check advantage
But ultimately I leave it up to modder preference! Since we have the camp version now, I'll just stick with that.
