About this mod

My Emporium of masks. For each race and body type. Each of my current custom masks gives you +1 Charisma. Idea is that as masks hide part of your face it might boost your confidence. Inspired by the movie Labyrinth and the description linked zine. Also my idea when I was a kid that such a mask would be magical and help me socialise.

What is this mod?

My Emporium of masks. For each race and body type. Each of my current custom masks gives you +1 Charisma. Idea is that as masks hide part of your face it might boost your confidence. Inspired by the movie Labyrinth and this zine by those on the Down by the River discord server. Also my idea when I was a kid that such a mask would be magical and help me socialise.

In order for the metal to take on more vibrant colours it takes on values from the "Cloth_Primary" for the main part of the metal, and then "Metal_Primary" for the little plant detail.

Consider using Transmog Enhanced if you want different stats for the masks, as I won't be changing it on my end. Thank you for your understanding.

Location in Game

Whether starting a new game or continuing a current one, you will receive the containers with the masks in them when you first go to Camp after installing the mod. Doesn't have to be long rest, just a visit to camp. They can then be found in the travellers chest.

Switching to Latest Version

This mod was converted for use in the Toolkit, so I can further build on it via it. I have tried to make this as seamless as possible for you switching to these new versions.

However when switching to the latest version of the mod please make sure to remove the pak of the original mod if you got it from here previously.

Patch 6 of the mod will remain under old versions.

How do I install this mod?

Place the .pak in your `C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods`

Please use either BG3 Mod Manager or the new in game mod manager to enable your mods. You can also use vortex, but due to one I personally don't use, I can't help troubleshoot any issues you may run into.

Thank you for your understanding.

Does this work with race mods?

As long as their parent race for armours/outfits is linked to a vanilla race it should work with them.

UUID's for use with Cheat Engine or Script Extender

See behind spoiler for this information.
Spoiler:
Show

Item ID's
NameUUID
P4_Curved_Mask01 -     ccbcfb86-faee-4328-9af7-43bd50c9e165
P4_Straight_Mask01 -    656cd84c-29ee-40d3-9f0d-6ca1fd40f972

OBJ_PadmesOddsandEnds - 61dffa08-0f59-43f3-9326-1d54c36bf056 (this bag contains both the masks)

If using Script Extender you would use the below in the console to add the above bag with both masks into the active characters inventory. Change the UUID to one of the masks if you prefer just one mask to spawn.
TemplateAddTo("61dffa08-0f59-43f3-9326-1d54c36bf056", GetHostCharacter(), 1)
