Every supported race now can choose dragon scales without the draconic bloodline subclass. Unlike the subclass, it does not give any bonuses so it is a cosmetic decision for RP that says "I am part dragon"

Added a new mod to the list. It is optional and placed on "Update" list section - what it does is add changes to CUSTOM races like the one I did making Half-Dragon into Draconian and Dire Wolf into Canine, right now it also hides the Half-Dragon Dragonborns because it was requested and I agree it feels too cluttery and not lore friendly at the dragonborn subrace section. In this future this will include changes for racial (or removal of racials) so every mod is on the same playing field (5e or tasha). Probably compatibility with Fantastical Multiverse if I happen to be able to work with it will be placed here too.
Moved Crash fix to miscellaneous section since people will likely not need it anymore/going forward as campaigns wrap up.

Rearranged the companion menu.
Tags and Uniqueness information: Added hidden tags relative to belonging to a race to every single race and subrace that I believe previously aren't automatically set. May be wrong, but now they are 100% enabled. Added the strong body tag to dragonborn and orcs (because they are with the exception to a smaller version for human parented half orc using body type 1 and 2). Added a new underdark tag to duergars. Fixed the elf tags: High Elves receive the elf tag, high elf tag, and sun elf tag. Wood elves receive the elf tag, sylvan elf tag, and wood elf tag. Aevandrow (not available yet) receive the elf tag, looks-like an underdark creature tag. (These elves live in northern frost regions in the overworld, not the underdark so they are more like elves behavior wise but also kinda extinct) Lorendrow (previously seldarine) receive the elf tag, lorendrow tag, and looks like an underdark creature tag. (These elves live in forest in the overworld, not the underdark but they may respond as regular drows). Udadrow receive the udadrow tag and is an underdark creature tag. Half elves (no matter if human or elf as parented race) receive the half elf tag so they can behave like usual. Elf parented receive the elf tag and human parented receive the human tag too to allow you to roleplay as you wish. They receive the proper sylvan, high, sun and so on tags accordingly. Hopefully all these detailed tags will make the experience more unique when you pick your race. This same behavior is done with the rest of the vanilla races but these were the most emblematic changes.
Removed the root templates pointing to dev branches (debug) for many races to their production version.
Added "empty" slots for every category for every vanilla race (like beard and so on) so added beards to unintended races can be removed.

Make custom races able to take their place among the vanilla races in Alphabetical order. Currently supports Aasimar, Half Dragon and Gnolls (caveat that half dragon dragonborns are not added).
If you want to: A) Go for a Larian approach and make this rework not add racial ability scores, I'll make an optional file available in the really near future for that. B) You want a full on 5e approach and keep racial bonuses BUT eliminate the +2 free selector added by larian I'll make a mod available for that in Plus Classes in the near future.
Makes half elf, drow and elf heads available to Elf. Makes half elf, half orc and humans heads available to human.
Half elf in the human race inherit some racial features from humans to signal they are human raised, same for any other half bread. In the same way elf half bread receive more racial passives from elves to signal their heritage.
Renamed subraces to match 5e, as examples: Drows (Dark Elves) are now divided into Udadrow (lolth elves), Lorendrow and Aevandrow (work in progress); Dwarves are not using their Hill and mountain naming scheme, High elves were renamed to Sun elf to allow for other High Elves to be added (Star Elves, Moon Elves and so on), made a placeholder for Mountain Orc and Grey orc as actual Orc races.
I'll make a list of new racial passives added in the article section tomorrow. But as an example humans receive +1 to every ability score, meanwhile wood elves get +2 dex and +1 wisdom.
For modders added new parent races at different points as to reduce workloads hopefully (details will be on an article soon).
For fans and users of my origins and hirelings mods. Now I'll be able to make everything I release properly match vanilla looks.

Plans I'll be adding races overtime. I'll make drop in replacements for whatever other races modders make as long as they are quality work. I need help with recommendation on how the presets should look (fan arts, images, descriptions) for each new race and general feedback. I also need specific recommendation about racials that make each one more unique. I'll be adding the option to pick tails and horns to every race soon.
For Modders I added the following parent races for when you must modify Races.lsx and you want to target certain race sizes instead of them all at "Humanoid" but also avoiding writing a million entries and help with compatibility.
Load Order: There are 2 files. One is an override which you will no need to touch, and the other is labelled as Plus Races - Rework. Place this after any files that modify vanilla races but before than currently supported mods.
Compatibility: Check the currently supported customraces. Check how to add your race to the system by sending me this information (WIP).
Contributing: I want to start this segment by telling you that if you are busy, just want to enjoy the game, or have no means to contribute then don't worry about it because I make all of this available for people's enjoyment. Modding always has a risk of breaking your on-going saves. Keep this is mind to diminish frustrations if, or when, it happens.
Remember to read the description pages of mods, and every resource modders make available, instead of avoiding that and going the "easy" but time consuming route of asking again while disregarding everything. If it is a new or unknown issue then I'm happy to help.
Even if I make available a guide on how to use Vortex successfully, I only truly support BG3MM usage.
Don't repost my work, or copy it. I'll make sure to add people that has permission of usage but otherwise if you see it elsewhere they are likely abusing.
Piece of advice: You can likely disregard reading from the "Links" section onwards if you have done so once on my mods already as this is part of a signature copied over to every mod I release, and I'll likely edit the pinned comment with the last version update that the pinned information changed as to save you the hassle of reading twice the same thing.
