Recommended on a new save only (changes may not effect existing saves) changes may not revert after uninstalling on saves that used this mod. This mod changes base stats of characters, so it might potentially be multiplied again by tactician difficulty. I recommend you use some mod which stops multiplication of enemy hp in tactician mode, like tactician plus or my tactician mod
Will conflict with other mods which edit the same base character stats, only use one of these types of mods or mind your load order.
- Increase the base health of boss characters by 50%
- Lower the AC of boss characters by 1 (but not less than 10 AC)
Base game is already nicely balanced, but I wanted a little something extra for boss characters. There are other mods like this, but upon further inspection I find they've made too many changes for my taste. All this mod does is increase health of ONLY boss type characters and slightly reduces their armor, making them easier to hit.
AC is used to determine hit or miss. Base AC for just about anything in the game is 10, so I didn't reduce anything below this threshold. 11 becomes 10, 12 becomes 11, etc. It's a very slight change but helps offset the increased health.
Optional file is for modders, contains every unchanged vanilla record that was modified (essentially a list of all the bosses in the game) if you want to edit them to your own liking.
