About this mod

Replaces the in-game spell Evard's Black Tentacles with a more powerful one. Different versions included (changes action cost, radius, damage and range).

Created this mod due to user request.
The mod itself is available in three different files, or packages. See info below.

Note: The original spell upcast +1d6 for level 5 and 6. This mod does not since I couldn't get that part to work. Everything else is working as it should.

Package #1: Small change (closest to Original)

This pack is for players who only want minor upgrades to the existing version of spell. Perfect for changing up the gameplay just a notch but still have the challenge.

Distance 18m or 36m
Area (radius) 6m, 8m, 10m or 12m
- Damage per enemy 3d6, 4d6, 5d6, 6d6, 7d6, 8d6, 9d6 or 10d6 
- NPC's can use it against you

- Total versions included in this pack: 64
(You only add one of the versions in the pack to your mod folder. Multiple choices available so you can choose based on your need.)

Package #2: Medium change

This pack is for players who want to improve the spell to it's limits, but still enjoy the gameplay. As a special note, due to the power of this version, NPC's can't use it against you. This way you won't get one-shot by the opponents :) Also, all spell throws counts as a regular action and not spell slots.

Distance 18m, 36m or 72m
Area (radius) 6m, 8m, 10m or 12m, 15m
Initial damage per enemy 3d6, 4d6, 5d6, 6d6, 7d6, 8d6, 9d6 or 10d6
- NPC's can NOT use it against you
- All spell throws counts as actions (not requiring spell slots)

- Total versions included in this pack: 120

Package #3: Large change

This pack is for players who just want to enjoy more of the story and dialogues and keep the combat to a minimum. As a side effect you also gets to feel like an invincible god and will kill everyone and everything on the battlefield, as long as the enemies are not immune to bludgeoning damage:)

Area (radius) 6m, 8m, 10m, 12m or 15m
Initial damage per enemy 5d20, 10d20 or 20d20 (stays the same regardless of spell level)
- NPC's can NOT use it against you
- All spell throws counts as actions (not requiring spell slots)

- Total versions included in this pack: 15

Requires
Baldur's Gate 3 Mod Fixer

Install
1. Download and extract the compressed file to your computer (outside of the mod folder)
2. Copy one of the versions (.pak) into your mod folder (AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods)
3. Activate the mod in your Baldur's Gate 3 Mod Manager
4. Save the Load Order
5. Start the game!
