About this mod

Replaces the in-game cantrip Shocking Grasp with a more powerful one. Different versions included (changes number of targets, damage output and range).

Shocking Grasp (Enhanced)

Added this mod based on request. Similar to my other cantrip mods, except that you have a lot more distance variants (since the original was only 1.5m). Also includes package #4 which lets you use Shocking Grasp like Eldritch Blast! (same damage but increased amount of targets).

Good to know: If you choose a longer range (18m and above), this spell becomes a ranged one. I know some of you wanted that for this lightning cantrip :)

The mod itself is available in four different files, or packages. See info below.

Package #1: Small change (closest to Original)

This pack is for players who only want minor upgrades to the existing version. Perfect for changing up the gameplay just a notch but still have the challenge. The damage will increase by level 5 and 10 (just as the normal cantrip version).

Distance 1.5m, 3m, 6m
Initial damage 1d8, 2d8, 3d8, 4d8, 5d8, 6d8, 6d8, 7d8, 8d8, 9d8 or 10d8
Projectiles 1 or 1-3 (projectiles added at level 1-5-10)
- NPC's can use it against you
- Damage increase at lvl 5 and 10 (same as the cantrip)

- Total versions included in this pack: 60

Package #2: Medium change

This pack is for players who want to improve the spell to it's limits, but still enjoy the gameplay. As a special note, due to the power of this version, NPC's can't use it against you. This way you won't get one-shot by the opponents :) The damage will increase at level 5 and 10 (just as the normal cantrip)

Distance 3m, 6m, 9m, 18m or 36m or 72m
Initial damage 1d8, 2d8, 3d8, 4d8, 5d8, 6d8, 6d8, 7d8, 8d8, 9d8 or 10d8
Projectiles 1-3 (projectiles added at level 1-5-10) or 1-6 (projectiles added at level 1-3-5-7-9-11)
- NPC's can NOT use it against you
- Damage increase at lvl 5 and 10 (same as the cantrip)

- Total versions included in this pack: 120

Package #3: Large change

This pack is for players who just want to enjoy more of the story and dialogues and keep the combat to a minimum. As a side effect you also gets to feel like an invincible god and will kill everyone and everything on the battlefield, as long as the enemies are not immune to lightning damage :)

Distance 100m
Damage 5d20, 10d20 or 20d20
Projectiles 1, 3, 5, 7 or 10
- NPC's can NOT use it against you
- Damage and projectiles stays the same (will not change by levels increase due to the high amount of damage output).

- Total versions included in this pack: 15

Package #4: Special change (Eldritch style)

This pack is for players who wants to use this spell like Eldritch Blast, meaning that the damage stays the same but the projectiles increase by level. Added this pack due to popular request.

Distance 1.5m, 3m, 6m, 9m, 18m, 36m or 72m
Damage 1d8, 2d8, 3d8, 4d8, 5d8, 6d8, 6d8, 7d8, 8d8, 9d8 or 10d8
Projectiles 1-3 (projectiles added at level 1-5-10) or 1-6 (projectiles added at level 1-3-5-7-9-11)
- NPC's: Include versions where NPC both can and can NOT use it against you
- Damage stays the same (will not change by levels increase).

- Total versions included in this pack: 280

Requires
Baldur's Gate 3 Mod Fixer

Install
1. Download and extract the compressed file to your computer (outside of the mod folder)
2. Copy one of the versions (.pak) into your mod folder (AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods)
3. Activate the mod in your Baldur's Gate 3 Mod Manager
4. Save the Load Order
5. Start the game!
