Hello everyone! Thank you for all the kind words and I'm so glad to hear you're enjoying the mod. Here is a small sticky post to let you know what is new in this update!
I highly recommend grabbing Padmes VFX Patch from their Patches for CC Mods, it patches the head vfx from many popular head mods so that they can all work together! (Please note this does not currently included the heads added in Version 4, please be patient and give Padme time to update, thank you!)
Version 4 is here!
What's new? Version 4 of the Compendium ports over 11 heads that were previously exclusive to my Playable Dunmer Race mod, there a 6 male and 5 female heads included, they are available for big and small bodies on Human/Half-Elf/Elf/Drow/Tiefling. I've also added a few small side projects that were kicking around my mod folders, that means 1 new beard and 2 new hairs.
The mod has been cleaned up a little! I gave the mod a little internal spruce up so it wasn't so much of a mess, but I have also gone back and remade some of the older CC icons so that they better match the vanilla icon style. I've also made the shaved braid and magister beards available for Half-Orcs as they weren't previously.
EotB and Unique Tav patches are now optional files that you will need to load after the main file
Why remove the piercings? When I set up my Ghouls Custom Piercings mod I decided to add the Desire piercing sets into it, while at the same time making sure they wouldn't leave users with dupes of piercing sets. Because of this I have made the choice to remove them from this mod, if you were using the Desire sets from this mod previously, please swap to my Custom Piercings mod, you should be able to seamlessly swap over!
What about horns for everyone? I know many folks have asked, and I have expressed wanting to do this, but I have recently been very burnt out on modding BG3 (that's what I get for making two big races mods back to back) it is honestly a miracle that I even got this update finished. So while I would still like to, don't get your hopes up.
Are you going to update the Aasimar Version? I would like to but once again, I am very burnt out, so it is probably not going to happen anytime soon.
Hi, Ghouls! I was wondering, is it a massive pain to adjust the position of horns in general or for a specific race/face combo? I'm wanting to use your wonderful Nice Rack antlers on a Tiefling using PK's "Rune" face, but they're about an inch too far forward and just hanging in midair, and various hairstyles aren't really doing a good job of hiding the gap from all angles. I'm willing to look into doing it myself since you certainly can't be expected to match every single mod that exists, but I've mostly only opened paks, edited txt files for piercings, or made armors that are vanilla mashups, so nothing with faces or heads. If this were skyrim I'd try outfit studio or nifskope, but alas lol. Anyway, thanks for the mod, I really love all the little options. ^_^
Hello ghouls!!! Your mods are the bomb but I have an issue to report with patch 8. For some reason the EOTB Patch specifically resets the LO and causes the ModManager not to work, I've narrowed it down to this as I'm combing thru my load order for patch 8 so I'm re-enabling mods slowly. Also yes I do have it below EOTB and below the main mod as well. Tysm for all that you do an keep up the awesome work.
Hmm, so it must be a mod incompatibility then? Not sure what's causing it but for some reason it doesn't seem to want to work. I have it below the customization compendium, below EOTB and below the playable Undead race, I'm using the EOTB Patch for the Undead Race as well an have that loaded under this one EOTB patch so maybe that's causing it, its just odd cuz out of all 393 mods only 2 have caused this an its Faerun Dental Care and this one. Regardless I'm sorry for the hassle if it good on ur end.
Sorry to disturb you. I'd like to ask how to do compatible moDs? Because I want to make a compatible mod for the evil thoughts mos "legacy of death" and "on'Hee's Head Presets", so that the children of Death race can choose this mod face model. By unpackaging and comparing the contents of other compatible patches, I found that most of them were the same, with only a few mod names and the values of uuid and visual effects being different. How can I find the 32 characters of this value? So, is what I did right? I have reached out to many people, but none of them replied much to me.
I've noticed that I think this mod causes issues with patch 8 (making all new content text show not found) are there any plans to update this mod or anyone willing to convert it (with permission ofc)
Are you sure you don't have another outdated mod installed like OIO? This mod doesn't touch the vanilla localization so it shouldn't be causing any not found issues.
hi. the mod doesnt work for me - the heads just dont appear in my game, and horns appear with no texture. is it possible that there is something wrong in my load order in bgmm?
Hi! I just wanted to say that I LOVE this mod! Can I request to make the Ulvinis head a ghoul too, for the angry expression? I think that'd make my Durge look terrifying and cool. Totally understand if you don't, but I just thought I could ask <3 ok bye :3
