Currently only covers weapons! Armor update coming soon!

A current list of all items covered by this mod can be found here.

Soul Smithing is the first mod to utilize JWL Crafting Framework and introduces a way of upgrading your favorite gear all the way to legendary! Place your preferred piece of equipment into an Anvil and the appropriate amount of Soul Coins and it will upgrade to the next rarity! Now you can bring that one piece of gear that just completes your look all the way to the final boss without worry if you so please. Exciting!

Also adds some Soul Coins to certain vendors.

HOW IT WORKS:

Right click on the Anvil.

Place the item you want to upgrade into the menu that pops up and fill the remaining slots with Soul Coins. (Order does not matter)

Hit combine and enjoy your upgraded item!

Depending on the rarity, you will need better tools. The following is consistent across all upgrades:

  • Uncommon -> Rare: Anvil (Iron) + 1 Soul Coin
  • Rare -> Very Rare: Anvil (Adamantine) + 2 Soul Coins
  • Very Rare -> Legendary: Anvil (Platinum) + 3 Soul Coins

INSTALLATION:

  • Install JWL Crafting Framework
  • Place the .pak file in your mods directory (AppData/Larian Studios/Baldur's Gate 3/Mods)
  • Enable the mod using BG3 mod manager
  • Load after JWL Crafting Framework
  • Enjoy!
