You are no longer prevented from selecting Feats because you're capped in the stat choices! All ASI Feats are now passive selectors, and all passive selectors have their Ability Score caps removed.

Let's fix one of the more stinky implementations Larian went with.

Feats that provide an ability score increase in the form of a passive now stack and are not made redundant when a stat exceeds 20, just like Feats with proper ASI selection, except you can actually select them on level up when the respective ability score is 20 or higher.

They can take a stat over 20, which is the same as traditional ASI feat ability bonuses, the only difference is these can be selected when the stat has already reached, or exceeded 20. 

Vanilla ASI Feat:
  • Counts towards your base Ability Score and stacks with other bonuses
  • Not selectable in level up when available abilities have reached the 20 cap.

This mod:
  • Counts towards your base Ability Score and stacks with other bonuses
  • Now selectable in level up when available abilities have reached the 20 cap.
Vanilla passive selector Feat:
  • Does not count towards your base Ability Score like ASI Feats, making them redundant when the 20 cap is exceeded
  • Is selectable in level up with no restrictions.

This mod:
  • Counts towards your base Ability Score and stacks with other bonuses
  • Is selectable in level up with no restrictions.


Passive selector Feats with their 20 cap removed:
  • Actor
  • Durable
  • Heavily Armoured
  • Heavy Armour Master
  • Resilient

ASI Feats turned into passive selectors:
  • Athlete
  • Lightly Armoured
  • Moderately Armoured
  • Performer
  • Tavern Brawler
  • Weapon Master

Known conflicts:
  • For the most part, any other mod editing these feats is going to be incompatible. Mileage will vary, patches will need to be made. I don't mind people using my stuff as a base, please use these for your own mods editing feats! 
  • Rebalance - Feats is probably the most obvious conflict, it does the opposite of what this mod does; turns the passive selection feats into traditional ASI feats.

Load order:
  • Before or after conflicts based on what changes you want, mileage will vary

Thanks:
  • I got the idea from this mod Feat ASI cap fix by Niss, but I figured I'd make my own for a cleaner implementation which does not have issues with Resilient's functionality, edits the loca entries to accurately reflect what the Feats do and be more compatible with other mods which may wish to edit the same stat entries.
