Hello, I'm working on a localization of this mod About TavernBrawler 's description This mod: When you make an unarmed attack, use an improvised weapon, or throw something, your Strength <LSTag Tooltip="AbilityModifier">Modifier</LSTag> is added to the damage and <LSTag Tooltip="AttackRoll">Attack Rolls</LSTag>.
Origin : When you make an unarmed attack, use an improvised weapon, or throw something, your Strength <LSTag Tooltip="AbilityModifier">Modifier</LSTag> is added twice to the damage and <LSTag Tooltip="AttackRoll">Attack Rolls</LSTag>.
Is this a typo, or did you actually change the value?
I changed it because the original tooltip is entirely misleading for what the functionality actually is. All it does is add your Strength modifier as additional damage, it doesn't add it twice as an outcome of Tavern Brawler. It's basically just assuming that your base damage is strength, when it could be dexterity.
I use MOD "FeatAndAsi" to give every feat +1 ability. i dont know maybe it's the load order, but I tried before and after, Stackable ASI Feats never worked.
I don't believe Feats Extra edits these vanilla feats, been a while since I looked though. But that's the only way it's going to be incompatible. This won't work for custom feats though, or other feats that have ASI added to them from mods. These edits are very manual in nature, and everything would have to be specifically patched to function the same as this mod. Cahooots' Feats Overhaul implemented the changes from this mod though, if you're looking for an overhaul of vanilla feats.
Forgive me as English isn't my first language, but does this mod removes the 20 score cap from Ability Score Improvement? I'm currently playing with my Sorlock and transforming into Half-Illithid gave me a -2 Charisma debuff therefore I've been struggling to find a way to counter this since taking another Ability Score Improvement for +2 Charisma is blocked due to the score cap.
No it doesn't, my method wouldn't work perfectly for Ability Score Improvement, as it's a feat meant to be taken multiple times and the passives you select are unique. I would have to instead make multiple copies of Ability Score Improvement that require each other, this way you'd be picking a new feat with passives each time.
I might look into this but it wasn't in my original scope, I made this mod to stop players being locked out of selecting feats that were unique and did things because of the ASI selection, allowing ASI to go beyond 20 in level up was just a secondary goal.
Thank you for the reply. I'm using your mod for the other feats as well and they work properly, no regrets made downloading it.
As for the Ability Score Improvement, I've read in other mods related to this one stating that it's somewhat hard-coded but I'll be saying this to you with a grain of salt. Be sure that if you go beyond your scope and find out a way to surpass the score cap, I'll be much grateful.
It is hardcoded that's why this mod is designed the way it is, replacing traditional ASI selection with passive selectors. I won't be getting on this straight away though, what I plan to do is take this mod and build a proper template covering all feats, for creating feat overhaul mods using my passive selector design instead of ASI. It will wait until then.
You're welcome! Yeah it's pretty bad game design, there should be an option to just not get the ASI selection, unfortunately it's just hardcoded to say
This mod works perfectly, thank you! And by the way, as we all know in the vanilla game if one's ASI reaches 20 then the character can never take another feat adding this ASI. Is there any mod that allow breaking this limit? (I know there is solution like Passive Ability Decrease but that is not "smart" enough)
It's what I plan to do with this mod it just keeps falling on the backlog of things to do, I'll just turn all the ASI feats into passive boosts instead.
Yes they can take a stat over 20, which is the same as traditional ASI feat ability bonuses. The only difference is these can be selected when the stat has already reached, or exceeded 20.
Vanilla ASI Feat: Stacks with other bonuses, not selectable in level up when an ability is at 20+
Vanilla passive Feat: Does not stack with other bonuses past 20, is selectable in level up with no restrictions
This mod: Passive Feats will stack with other bonuses past 20, is selectable in level up with no restrictions.
I've been hoping for this solution since forever. Also, I'm apparently not a good reader. Is this a universal solution or just for the 5 feats you mentioned?

Also, TIL there are feat mods I'd never seen.
