Ah! I had been meaning to ask if the two separate mods weren't working together, but given that you've released this mod it seems you're already ahead of me :)
Edit : This one worked perfectly to just replace the one I was already using in my run though, so great job!
Wow thats alot. Some of them I've seen but I don't have any of those currently loaded. I'll check them out. I don't look to disengage much, I probably should though because I always have one or two companions down after a fight. LOL. I use Unarmed Strike Monk Plus and OneDnD Monk - Martial Arts and Unarmed Combatant Feat And my Monk is pretty OP. But I use a lot of other mods to increase difficulty so it evens out I guess.
Ah, that first one is just another version of Unlocked Unarmed Strike, except for some reason monk only. OneDnD Monk...oh man, 2024 monk got SO much better than the first OneDnD monk we got. It looks like all the mod gives you is some extra weapon proficiencies and a single increase to the monk die? Well, and also the Monk Bonus Action Unarmed Strike effect. If you're curious about all the upcoming changes (which I believe Firestorm intends to implement one change at a time), check out 2024 Monk vs 2014 Monk. I remember Unarmed Combatant! Bitter makes some interesting mods. I imagine that's where a lot of your power is coming from.
That's true! I'll admit I hadn't given that one a good look yet. I guess at a glance I thought it just replaced the HP formula, but it actually changes your CON to match your WIS?
Thanks for the info! Itwould be great if someone made a 2024 Monk build with all those changes. I’llsee if I can switch out that one mod and see if it helps my Pugilist build. Nothing else seems too…
Correct, I tried a starting monk with 8 con and 16 wis, had 16 con when the game started.
I also tried multiclassing starting as a barb and switching to monk, immediately worked.
There was this interesting thing I couldn't really explain where (using a feat mod to get them every level) I couldn't reach 18 con until lvl 3 and 20 con until lvl 5 (through raising wis). Won't matter normally though.
