Changes to localization: Indicated in the description of some spells that casting them again on the same target will cancel the status.
This will give you spells that allow you to make characters join one of the 2 factions the mod adds and then initiate a battle between them.
You can make any character in the game join one of the factions, once they join either faction, you will get manual control over them so that you can move them. You can create PVP/PVE fights, you can even play as both factions at the same time and just fight yourself if that's what you want.
Custom Faction Spells: Look for 'Custom Faction Spells' in your spellbook.
Join Golden Guardians - Targets you cast this on will join the Golden Guardians faction.
Join Azure Phantoms - Targets you cast this on will join the Azure Phantoms faction.
Mark AI - Any characters marked with this spell will be AI controlled when the battle begins. AI uses the character's default archetype for now. (Do NOT try to use archetypes from AI Allies on characters that are a part of either faction, it also touches factions and will cause issues. Also, make sure to leave at least 1 character per player that's not under this spell somewhere, they don't need to participate they just need to exist so the game doesn't bug out when it doesn't find any player characters to track.)
Fight! - Starts the battle between the factions.
Demonstration:
Be sure to save before setting up a battle, I tested a bunch but there could still be some issues I missed. Revivify/Resurrection is currently disabled to members of either faction because it causes issues. Battle automatically ends if all members of a faction are downed (There is a check at the start of every round) or dead. The join faction and AI spells work as toggles, so you can cast them again on the same character and the status will be removed.
