Hi Everyone, I'm truly blown away at the response I've gotten so far on the Nexus for Immersive Dragons, I sincerely appreciate all the support you've given me.... I also truely enjoy receiving the user images that have been sent to me of your encounters, so please keep them coming!!!
This is a must-have mod not only because it changes the appearance but it also fixes dragon's hitbox. Now you are no longer blocked by invisible wing hitboxes when fighting dragon in close quarters. I've been having headache trying to fix this issue and here lies the solution.
I think the author should mention this in the title or in the description cuz this is more than just a simple aesthetic mod.
Rougeshot, I would like permission to provide a derived skeleton.
I'm the author of True Dragons, and Immersive Dragons is one of the mods I'd like to support out of the box.
To do that, I'd need to add forelegs to the skeleton, and provide it as a skeleton.nif override.
Alternatively, you could provide the skeleton yourself.
With a proper override, then the skeleton would just be another loose file to enable, if you use the TrueDragonsVanillaAF download.
Right now, it's possible to use Immersive Dragons with my mod, but as with other skeleton replacers, the modding process is not trivial as I can't provide the skeletons without permission.
Hi slitherscales99, You have my permission to use the skeleton from Immersive Dragons with the True Dragons mod. Your True Dragons mods seems pretty revolutionary for those folks who have been wanting those D&D type dragons for so long.
How would this mod play with the GoT Dragon replacers? (e.g. this one https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/80361) I assume there will be issues? The replacer obviously changes the model of the dragon, but the wingspan still seems small.
not sayin this mod is my issue, but thought someone here may have advice... i no longer get the dramatic dragon death anim. been years since i've seen it. i know dragon skeletons can be a little tricky, and i've used this for quite awhile. anyone have ideas? thanks
Hi Mookey, I may be wrong, but I believe that particular animation is exclusive to defeating Alduin in the vanilla game. I believe you would need a mod to make it show up on the other dragons. There are mods that do this like Dragon Combat Overhaul and a couple others that I can't remember right now.
I was just curious if it might be possible to improve the skeletal collision. I notice sometimes when fighting dragons in 1st person my character will clip with parts of the body at times like the head, tail or wings.

Enjoy the mod my friend.

Keep up the great work!

There is a GoT Dragon video in the video tab. You can check it out for yourself.
Enjoy!
are collision boxes the same as hit boxes?
If yes, does that mean attacking dragons head/neck/body will deal no damage?
=Going thru older posts on Savage Skyrim and I happily found that Immersive Dragons is included.
Using Diverse Dragons, Deadly Dragons.
First i thought it is "True Dragons - Four Legs Good Two Legs Bad", but it is indeed your Mod.
Guess, that its very incompatible and seeing its from 2021, thats the Case...

Now it should be easy use to use both mods together.
And I didn't know the comment lock applies to the whole thread...
