Description:

Gives all playable races a unique body and texture with head textures except for the vampire versions. Adds a second version of all playable races including vampire for the player only so the player can have their own body and textures. Player only races are marked with PL in the name during character creation and work just like the vanilla races with racial comments and all thanks to RaceCompatibility for Skyrim Special Edition. Yay you can add a body mod and not have grandma and grandpa included lol.

By default only vanilla bodies and textures are installed. You must install your own manually. That means by default there is no nudity, that's up to you to do.

To install new bodies install the body mod as normal. Then go to Skyrim Special Edition\Data\meshes\actors\character\character assets and drag malebody_0.nif, malebody_1.nif, malefeet_0.nif, malefeet_1.nif, malehands_0.nif, and malehands_1.nif into the folder named after the race such as AANordMBody. For females the same named .nif files just with Female in the name and the folders have an F instead of an M between the race and body. The race folder with Player are the unique to the player races.

Argonians and Khajiit use malehandsargonian_0.nif, malehandsargonian_1.nif, femalehandsargonian_0.nif, and femalehandsargonian_1.nif. Vanilla Argonians use the default folder for their hands, khajiit and player race Argonians use their respective body folder. Argonians and Khajiit use the default folder for their tails, the player races use the player folder tails.

To install the textures install as normal then go to Skyrim Special Edition\Data\Textures\Actors\Character\Female and drag femalebody_1.dds, femalebody_1_msn.dds, femalebody_1_s.dds, femalehands_1.dds, femalehands_1_msn.dds, femalehands_1_s.dds, femalehands_1_sk.dds, femalehead.dds, femalehead_msn.dds, femalehead_s.dds, and femalehead_sk.dds to the race folder you want them to replace. Males are in Skyrim Special Edition\Data\Textures\Actors\Character\male and have the same named textures just without the fe at the start.

Argonian and Khajiit use the default texture folders, to replace the player race copy from their folders and paste into the player folder in either Male or Female like the rest of the races. Their vanilla folders are in Skyrim Special Edition\Data\Textures\Actors\Character

Old male textures are in Skyrim Special Edition\Data\Textures\Actors\Character\maleold instead of a subfolder in Skyrim Special Edition\Data\Textures\Actors\Character\male while the female textures are in the named folder with the rest of them.

Vampire versions of the races use the default body and texture locations. I did not mess with them because of Dawnguard changing the heads of all the vampires for some godawful reason. I didn't change them because that would cause problems with the vampire NPC's and there are other mods that do change them. Other races added by DLC that are not playable also use the default body and texture locations. So install a body and texture mod as normal for vampires and other races DLC or mods add unless you want to leave them as Bethesda did.

Player only races only have 1 complexion, no 40 or rough complexions. Sorry I didnt make the dozens of complexions for each sex, The CK wasn't letting me swap them and copy and paste in Xedit was not exactly what I wanted to spend all day doing. So you get the default complexion, if you want a different one change the detailmap in the texture set with Xedit to the one you want or install a head texture that adds those details.

All races use the default makeup, grime, and warpaints. So no need to manually install those anywhere but default if you use a mod version of them. Any head texture added by those kinds of mods will also need to be in the race folders that you want them used by.

The body, hand, and head textures in the folders are so you can have matching body, hands, and heads without unsightly seams. Nobody I know likes neck or wrist seams.

Race head normal maps are no longer being used from the default folder except for Argonians and Khajiit. I moved them to the folders with the body textures for ease of installation when adding a different one. So if you have a replacer for Elves or Imperials be sure to install into the correct folder used by this mod otherwise the replacer won't do anything.

The unique bodies does not affect armor and clothing, though the NPC's and player will use the unique body textures so if your armor or clothing mods textures are incompatible with the characters race textures you will get unsightly body textures. Not sure about male body mods textures but CBBE and UNP are fine as long as the hips down to the legs are covered. They have a different UV layout in that area making bathing suits and underwear incompatible as far as texture goes.

Body mods that include more textures than I listed will need those textures left in the default folder. If you want those textures to be unique to a race then you will need to use Nifskope to change the filepath accordingly or do it with a texture set in my esp. Instructions on how to do that are available elsewhere.

Works great with Bodyslide. Add the hands and feet to all the races and sex then use bodyslide to modify the body of your choice, build then copy and paste the body .nif files you just created into the race and sex you want it to be used by. Repeat until all the races and sex you are making them for are done. Even do it again for the default body so other races and vampires have something different.

You can give muscular normal maps to orc and nord females, non muscular normal maps for elf males... whatever body and texture combinations you can come up with. No more everyone has the same body and textures once you get done populating the folders with your replacements. So have fun downloading body and face texture mods and replacing the bodies, hands, and feet textures to go with the bodies, hands and feet models!
