It's a mod and yes, usually it colors the map's markers as well as the compass' icons. Use the mod search and type in "Colored map", it should bring up all of them if you'd like to browse.
However, this version is identical to your German version.
Because of this, the German translations of iNeed text, like "You are a little hungry", get baked into the save file. This cannot be fixed by removing your script, or restarting iNeed. Folks will always see the German, even after removing your script.
I've checked the file and yes, it contains on screen text from my German version. I don't know why this happened. I apologize for the inconvenience. Thanks for your investigations. I've uploaded a new version in English. You need to replace v1.0 with v1.0a. Drastic measures like the Savegame Script Tool are not necessary! Please read the update instructions in the description tab.
I think yes, but I have not tested yet. You can install the patch without any issues. If it doesn't work you can deactivate it, savegame is not affected.

If you encounter SkyUI errors you can deactivate related SWF-checks in SkyUI-MCM without issues.
