This version just didn't achieve the effect I wanted because of it's limitations.

since installing this i'm not seeing any of my usual moving animated webs that gently waft around. does this change that? what file makes webs move? i'll check mine.

edit: oops, it may've been your Extended mod. but either way, do your web mods stop the movement? and what files can i check that make the moving?

Neither of these two web mods effect or touch the animation in any way, shape or form, they just retexture them. Try uninstalling which ever version of my webs mod you are using and see if it persists or not. I would be completely surprised if it did but I would be very interested to know your result from this action.
If after doing that and it continues to persist, check if any other objects that usually have animation has been effected, like grass, trees, etc.
Then check if you have any other mods that effect environmental animations installed that could be the culprit. If yes, try deactivating and see if the problem is solved. If not, try deactivating all mods that have a possible link to altering or effecting animations.
Don't forget to let me know if you discover what is causing it and especially if it is one of the web mods.

I just wanted to leave a quick message in say that this is honestly one of the best mods I've seen yet. I can't even imagine playing the game without this mod anymore. Thank you!

Problem found(using 0.1 ) the webs don't become visual/rendered at dark places, only if a strong light source is in place.Example:

    candlelight off

    on

    enb201347194734.jpg

    Not good...

Are you using any lighting mods?
I know the new version of Enhance Lighting FX mod changes the meshes of spider webs, I don't know what effect these cause because I haven't tried it out yet. If you are using it try deleting the spider web meshes it adds

No I don't use it but I have tweaked meshes from "Skyrim Particle Patch for ENB" mod...I will check without them because same thing happens without your textures(so sorry, false issue).

EDIT: Even without any tweaked meshes the problem exists. So it's a not-so-known vanilla BUG..!

Great mod, endorsed. To be honest I think v01 is better than v02. V02 webs become way too bright when illuminated.

Well it does look more realistic and you did really well with it but the vanilla webs come from giant spiders so the rope look seems to fit it more for me.

      This is also my opinion,

Now the webs look like hundreds of small spiders have made filigran webs together but not as if giant spiders made them.

But as always, it's a matter of personal attitude - great job though.
