Hvergelmir's Armor Retexture was a project I started back in late 2011 and the first mod of it's kind to give all armor and weapons a visual overhaul. With time the progress on this mod died out for various reasons, but it all comes down to one simple fact. I'm a perfectionist - and the vanilla textures AND models weren't good enough for me - while my texture work is still amongst the best available of it's kind on Nexus or anywhere else, Hvergelmir's Armor Retexture simply never got a chance to truly shine through and was quickly forgotten - and this is because I didn't deliver. I am confident there'll be a ton of people out there wondering what is going on, on my end, the slow progress I make to the current projects and et cetera. I haven't abandoned any of my projects as some may think, despite me continuously reassuring you all otherwise. A lot of shit have just been going on with my life recently and most notable a rather rough relationship break-up that really pulled me into a black hole I couldn't easily get out from again.
Since then things have been kinda... meh. I've been back here a few times saying all is good, and for the most part it was, it's just the same old other issues I have that sometimes return and makes life though for me.

Hvergelmir's Armor Retexture - One Year Birthday
We today celebrate the first year existence of Hvergelmir's Armor Retexture, today one year ago plus a few days I took the first iron item (the Iron Shield to be specific) into my hands and used my graphic skills to give it a visual overhaul - the result; HAR. Much have happened the past year, both ups and downs (mostly downs at the time being; few bumps on the road, such as other disrespectful modders that spewed their hate on me and other things going on). Hvergelmir's Armor Retexture - upcoming expansion
In addition to the news of my return I gotta admit something I've been thinking about for a while, that has now been decided that I gotta do.
People asked me all the time if I'd do weapon textures in addition to armor textures, and my reply would at the time be "No" or "Not at this given time". But I've realized that I SHOULD do weapon textures for several reasons, one being; I had to consider the fact that once I get to some of the more unique looking armor sets that I've decided to do drastic visual changes to, it'd look inconsistent with weapons that didn't look the same and thus out of place.
So, there... in the future an expansion of Hvergelmir's Armor Retexture will released containing retextures of different weapon sets, matching...

Hi, long time no see.
As some may have noticed I've been gone from the community for a little while. Some of you may care and missed me and my work - others, not so much. But what do I know - not many people asked for me in my absence. What I do know though is that some people unfortunately lost faith in me and my texture projects and have immigrated to other retexture project, much to my regret of course.
I have worked hard for a long time on my textures without ever actually getting any recognition for my work. You see all these popular mods out there, featured in videos and recommended through articles and so on. Hello everybody.
It's been a while I updated HAR the last time. As some of you may know I've been quite busy with life but also having some personal problems that have made it difficult for me to keep working on this project as much as I used to. Some people even went as far as thinking that HAR was dead for good, but this is not the case. HAR is still alive and breathing but I'm working on it only when I have the time and when motivated.
I promised you all a big update the next time HAR would be updated. I have failed to keep that promise. This update only features my Iron armor texture improvements and not the complete Hide set as well. Don't worry, it'll eventually come.
