If you place the files in the Texturesmenus & menus50 folders then you can run it at the higher resolution. It worked for me at 1920x1200 so I'm pretty sure it'll work at the other resolutions also.

Since I like your mod, I downloaded it and I'm putting it into my archive. I noticed the readme was a little light so I buffed it up. Feel free to use/modify it if you like.
Description ----------- This mod changes the color of the default cursor to match the color theme of DarkUI.
I made this because I love the DarkUI mod and use it all the time, the only part that didn't look right to
me was the cursor still being the same color, so I made it darker and colored it to fit the color in
DarkUI.
Installation ------------ Extract to your Oblivion folder.
Uninstall --------- Delete the following file:
OblivionDataTexturesmenus80misccursor.dds
Incompatibility --------------- None.
Known Issues or Bugs -------------------- None.
History ------- 1.0, 2006/10/13, Initial release.

If you are using a higher resolution, don't bother even downloading it...
Double check that you extracted them to the correct places, if you are extracting straight to the Oblivion directory it may not install correctly.
Extract to someone like your desktop and place the files into the Oblivion Directory manually.

lhammonds - I'm not very good at readme files so i'll use that one thanks, i'll put a bit in that says you did it
And i'll redo the images in a moment, i did have them as jpg initialy but it reduced the quality so much i decided png.
But i'll go with the jpg.
