    This is genius! I'm surprised it hasn't gotten more attention than it has. It's especially useful for Duke Patrick's no Recoil combat mod because that mod sets blunt weapon speed so low it's almost impractical to train...but not anymore.

    I'd actually like to see a mod that adjusts EXP gains for weapon skill, (Blade, Blunt, AND Marksman) based on weapon damage, rather than speed. Otherwise, the most efficient way to train a skill is still to grab an Iron weapon, (Rusty Iron if possible), and poke away, but now you have to grab the weakest AND slowest weapon, rather than the weakest and fastest. This would also account for weapon speed in a very natural way, since faster weapons are weaker and thus will give less EXP through virtue of doing less damage. Just a thought.

      That isn't any more efficient, it's just that you have a target to hit for longer, so you can get more blows in per enemy. There are plenty of ways to find yourself a target to hit anyway. Scaling for weapon damage would also mean that you get more EXP at higher skill levels since that increases damage.
