Fixed it spitting out two error messages to the console whenever you unequipped a weapon into bare fists. Just pretties up the console, still worked fine.
Hello. This is a wee little half-assed mod that lets you set weapon skill experience gain to be proportional to the speed of your weapon, and/or add bonus experience gain for power attacks. All of this can be disabled and/or configured in the .ini.
I made this mod because without it, it is optimal to always choose the fastest weapon and always spam normal attacks with it if you want to improve your skill the fastest. I got tired of using a dagger and spamming left click all the time because Blade levels so slowly otherwise. With this mod, by default, everything levels proportionally to the fastest weapon for Blade/Blunt. Now spamming left-click with a longsword gains exp at the exact same rate as a dagger!
What's more, power attacks also grant bonus EXP on hit, by default 2.5x as much because that's how much extra damage they do. This of course can also be configured.
This mod isn't nearly as polished or in-depth as my Customizable Magic Progression mod, which does much the same thing for magic skills based on magicka cost, hence the "Kind of" name.
You can install just by extracting the file to the /Data/ folder, or just use Wrye Bash or something since it's all set up nice. The .ini file is found in /Data/ini/WeaponXPvariables.ini.
