This looks great, but has way too much of a performance impact to be worth it for me. My framerate is sometimes almost halved when the effect is on screen.
If you do not rebuild the patch, it will crash since it is looking for the old file name. If you rebuild the patch, it will work fine. I tried it renaming the file twice. My apologies for assuming people knew if they changed anything in the load order they needed to rebuild the patch....
How do you do that? My apologies for asking, it's been a while since I've modded Oblivion so I've gotten confused as to how you can rebuild patches again and what not, just send me a helpful link if it's too much for you to answer as I will admit I'm being a pain lately asking for help.

Hope this is of help: Launch Wrye Bash Make sure plugins you want activated above "bashed patch" are checked Right click on "bashed patch, 0.esp", and select "Rebuild Patch". Leave boxes that are check as is, and make sure the following boxes are checked: "Merge Patches", "Import Names", "Import Stats", "Tweak Settings" (optional), and "Leveled Lists". Next click "Build Patch" at the bottom of the window to construct the patch based on the current plugin list takes a minute or so to complete. make sure bashed patch is checked to activate patch. launch game....
If you have never built a patch, I do not recall how to make one from scratch since it's been years since I did a first build and can not tell you the process for that....
I know this is an old old post, but I just want to reply for anyone who's looking for an answer to this issue.
You can install the fully merged UL plugin and also the ullushwoodlands plugin, just put the merged plugin as a higher priority in your load order. This way the merged plugin will overwrite the individual one, and then it will fufil the master requirement for the patch, which should then overwrite the area.

Vortex, it is understandable. Sorry it
does not work for you because it adds
natural beauty to a certain area.
If you are not using it, only suggestion I can
give is to try it in a different place in your
load order
instead of installing manually and
see if it works
since it is looking for the old file name.

This should work in theory.
I love to walk watching the leaves fall ...
Thank you...
