   Just saying, Herolegend is right, it should be a wooden katana (bokken) as this is the variety of katana used for training purposes.

   I think this should be wooden katana for practice but if you can't change the sound unless effecting all sounds thats a bummer "> well it can be a sakabato reversable katana blunt edge side to practice. This is cool I'm wondering though when you stop training would your companion also stop? and does he or she use magic against you too or does it force a sword fight? How about making it into a sakabato and a script to reverse the blade?

   Of course the sounds could not be changed to match the material without all weapons being affected but would still be funny.
