About this mod

This is just a set of statistical buffs to make shotguns more effective, without being overpowered. Esp-free.

Overview:
  • All pellet counts for 12 ga. shotguns have been normalized at 7, instead of sometimes being 9.
  • All 20 ga. shotguns now have 12 pellets instead of also being 7. This was done to give them more of a different role: They're better at dealing with weaker creatures and poorly armored enemies, as well as when firing from the hip, due to their higher pellet count, but slightly lower damage than 12 ga.
  • Most strength and skill requirements have been adjusted, to provide more of a linear curve in skill requirements as power increases. Hunting shotguns in particular were reduced from 75 skill to 50 instead.
  • Weaker shotguns generally have a higher crit. multiplier, to allow them to punch just a lil' above their weight in the early game, while still being less appealing than later shotguns to more skilled characters.
  • Most shotguns have had their damage increased by about 30%, and their accuracy hand-tuned. Hunting/double-barrel/caravan shotguns have excellent spread, sawed off shotguns aren't as wild with their pellet spread, and the TTW combat shotgun offers fairly decent spread in exchange for a slower fire rate.
This is intended to provide a modern alternative to The 00 Commando - A Shotgun Lover Mod. This is not an esp-free copy of that file, I balanced things in my own way here.

Works best with things that make armor values better.

Probably stupid OP with original BLEED.
