Features:
- Opens up Freeside into one contiguous world space
- All scripted scenes, quests, and AI packages have been ensured to work properly
- This mod restores no cut content with the exception of a few idle markers and one child chasing after the rat (also restored by Uncut Wasteland). SSSlick has created a handful of mods that work to bring back a lot of the cut content from the original mod, completely redone from scratch. Highly recommended!
- Navmesh has been completely re-done to fix pathing bugs
- Occlusion panes have been added to help boost performance, based on the ones from Yaruosus's FNV Occlusion Overhaul mod
- Fixed broken LOD in the original mod by re-generating it and not including it in the BSA file
Compatibility:
- Despite all the bug fixes and improvements, this mod will still be the compatibility nightmare as the original Freeside Open. This is just how the mod works, and can't be avoided. Any patches for quest mods will need to be remade for use with this mod, but I won't be making any myself.
- Patch for Uncut Wasteland/Uncut Wasteland Extra collection can be found here! (not needed if you use Simple Populated Freeside)
- Check out DiDisaan's Patch Emporium for patches for many popular mods, including A World of Pain, Functional Post-Game Ending, th3overseer's mods, and someguy2000's mods!
- This mod has been tested and made on a very light load order, which is recommended. It is probably the only viable way to get a fully stable and bug free experience with this
- You cannot install/uninstall this mid-save, no exceptions
