About this mod

"Restores" the unused Dixon bodyguards in Freeside. Simple Open Freeside and Vanilla versions. Based on the ones present in Freeside Open, improved a bit.

WHAT IT DOES
Adds the two unused thugs present in the game files the same way they were restored in Freeside Open. They just follow Dixon around and will defend him against any aggression. They were probably supposed to be a deterrent to attacking him during High Times.

I've improved their behaviour a bit placing a couple of smoking markers so they don't just stand still while following your favourite dealer around.  I also added a scriptrunner that set Dixon to help allies, so he become hostile if you attack his bodyguards (you could just kill them in front of him and he was fine with that).

COMPATIBILITY

Should be compatible with anything unless you have something that radically change the area in front of Mick and Ralph where Dixon moves around, or mods that move Dixon away from his usual location.

Doesn't edit directly any NPC record, so it's compatible with any cosmetic mod like Spice of life, NVR2 and 3, NVCE and such.


- Dixon and his goons all have varmint rifles in their inventory but in combat use their knives instead due to the higher DPS. This is a vanilla issue and not caused by this mod.
- The thugs are part of the FreesideDialogue faction so will fire comments on main story events like the other locals. If you have positive reputation this causes them to say you stuff like "you've been a godsend to Freeside" or "I hope some of the thugs around here follow your shining example".
