Hi, Was wondering if you are able to make a Tale of two wasteland patch. I want to use one in the capitol wasteland. If not possible, Do you know of any mods that may add the to the DC wasteland?
I don't have Fallout 3 and can't make anything for TTW. It looks like others have complained about this before, such as in the comments of this mod. It's kind of similar but it does look like there isn't a mod to add the bedroll kit into the Capital Wasteland yet.
It spawns just fine in Legion camps or NCR camps for me but I couldn't get it to actually let me sleep. I would select it in the pip boy and after it would give me the confirmation to close the pip boy nothing would happen. When I close the pip boy the sleeping mechanic does not trigger.
This mod doesn't edit the item's scripts/quest - the bedrolls found outside of Lonesome Road are the same item as the ones you find inside Lonesome Road, so it's not a bug with this mod. I never encountered buggy behavior with the bedroll kit since I use YUP and that mod does patch the scripts, so there is probably something bugged or otherwise undesirable with the vanilla scripts.
Yeah, it'd be a nice touch if you could buy your own bedroll instead of having to pilfer one out in the wasteland. I don't know if that would be a pain to implement, just being able to find them in the base game is awesome though.
It should be easy enough for me to do. I will try to add it to a few "random item" vendors (e.g. Miguel, Mick, and Michelle Kerr) and maybe even add a chance to find it random cabinets/dressers. I'll upload a new file as soon as I'm done with the current mod I'm working on. Should be a few days or less.

That mod was actually on my list but it's getting replaced with this!
