WHAT DOES THIS MOD DO?
Yet another Open Vivec mod.
It is available in two basic flavours in a BAIN archive:
No-Frills Open Vivec (Paper Map Placement)
This version makes no changes other than opening Vivec's cantons and placing the Foreign Quarter into a symmetrical position more akin to the paper map that shipped with Morrowind. No big changes otherwise, no additional lights, signposts, or similar.
No-Frills Open Vivec (Vanilla Placement)
Exact same thing, except the cantons are not moved.
ISN'T IT TERRIBLY INCOMPATIBLE WITH EVERYTHING?
As with every other Open Vivec mod, incompatibilities exist with other mods that change the Plaza cells. The paper map version moreso because the Foreign Quarter canton has been moved.
Patches available for both versions:
Uvirith's Legacy (the Vivec fast travel location is in the Telvanni plaza)
Main Quest Enhancers (Imperial Intolerance, the other parts require no patch)
Patches available for the Vanilla Placement version:
More patches. Rethinking Vivec is what this mod was a stepping stone for so there should not be any future changes other than patches.
WHO IS TO BLAME FOR THIS MESS?
The Elder Scrolls, Morrowind, etc. are property of Bethesda Softworks.
