So, this is a preventative measure?
Also, if I may, I believe medical merchants should carry 1-5 weak, and maybe other vendors will randomly have 1.
    But, maybe that's just me...

Yeah MED-X gives 250 poison resistance, so it's already in the game actually.

@Rambosturkeythis mod was made before Bethesda monkeys added such effect to med-x in some of their useless update.

Would you consider making a version compatible with DEF_INV?

      Thanks.

I'm thinking of installing "Wastelands Imports".
      It also has Antivenom.

Can I use both mods together?

It depends if Wastelands Imports edit same leveled items (lists) as my mod or not. At least crafting will work anyway.

FYI MED-X removes poison damage...maybe not in vanilla, but my MED-X heals poison damage...

I've kept looking for a recipe. Now I finally realize that Bethsoft didn't add any antivenom first place. Just the venomous creatures............ Well - downloading

Such an essential mod! To bad you made the stimpack animation instead of just eating it like every other drug. This animation does not work for me and I end dying because it fails to activate my character just "trys to pick something up from the floor instead of curing itself."
I hope U can get rid of the pointless animations, I need this mod very much because of the modded difficulty I am playing (one poisoning hit and I can watch my char slowly die without being able to do something against it XD-> also Stimpacks heal extrem slowly).
I will endores as soon as the 15 min are gone but I cant use it for now.

I didn't get why animation doesn't work on your side but i can make version without animation.

This is nice i have some questions tho,
What are the materials needed to craft?
And how much it costs ?
    Thanks.

2 Antiseptic, 1 steel, 1 mutfruit and 1 radscorpion stinger. Require level 1 medic perk. Base value is 100 caps. I tried to make it rare item, instead of vanilla non-existable, so encounters with bugs wouldn't be something negligible.

While I don't mind the other ingredients isn't the radscorpion stinger a bit too much? After all you'll come across 7 or 8 groups of bugs for every single radscorpion you find, making the antivenom more of a novelty item and not actually useful because by the time you can craft it you've already adapted to other ways to deal with bugs and no longer need it.

A possible solution would be getting rid of the radscorpion stinger and add something like bloodpacks on top of the antiseptic, at least making it harder to craft than stimpacks and radaway if you add the medic 1 prequisite.
Either that or get rid of the stinger, don't add anything else but make it so you need medic 2 instead of 1 and another 1 or 2 antiseptics.

Going for the stinger basically turns this into something along the lines of killing 1 deathclaw alpha in order to have a way to deal with a single group of molerats easier. No one capable of dealing with the deathclaw alpha will still need the help against molerats.

But the idea overall is pretty nice and I will definitely track the mod for now.

300 poison resistance is quite a lot so I think that's on par with radscorpion stinger being required, though I'd prefer more duration over the huge resistance. A less powerful variant with more common ingredients wouldn't be too bad addition though.

      @ Shinvar
Well i don't have medic perk in real life but as far as i know animal poisons were used in some medicine and antivenoms. My choice of radscorpion stinger based on my experience in game. I encounter radscorpions on earlier stages of gameplay and long before stingwings and bloatflies, and didn't have much trouble with them. I assumed noone will have. As for other ingredients i take mutfruit as posible source of glucose, accordingly to wikipedia glucose used in many antivenoms. Antiseptic in recipe list because it poison may be some bacterias and infectioning materials. And don't forget that this antivenom can be found or purchased. I never craft stimpaks and i have enormouse count of it, and i think so will be with antivenom.
However for your own use you may change any ingredient in recipe if you wont, it's under constructible object section. As far as there no more complains from other users the recipe will stay as it is now.

@rhapsodios, i think this is possibly. Maybe bloatfly gland will work.

I did in no way mean that you HAVE to change it or anything. It's your mod so it's obviously your choice.
It might just be that I'm extremely unlucky about encountering radscorpions then. The only areas I see them is one specific irradiated road near the Mass Fusion building, the area around the quarry where you can find Kremvhs Tooth and the very edges of the map to the east and south while the mosquitos and bloatflies are often on roadsides during the earlier areas of the game (east and south are considered tougher areas in terms of spawns).
Since you added a crafting recipe I thought you were adding an option for people trying to play survivalists and living off the land by their own means without buying stuff, that's why I gave my 2 cents in regards to making the antivenom craftable while the character is still weak enough to consider all those bugs a danger.

All in all though, as I said, it#s obviously all up to you and the basic idea is still a good one no matter my nitpicking about the crafting.
