For those who are interested, I made a mod called Power Armor to the People that uses this mod to add support for power armored enemies in power armor sets from mods on the Nexus, such as X-02, X-03, Ultracite, T-51c, etc. It also adds legendary power armor as a possible drop, and a few other things to better integrate those power armor sets into the world. It's fully modular so you can only take the features and power armor sets you want.
For anyone who comes here in the future wondering this: no, this is not compatible with Raider Overhaul on its own. I made a patch to make the two compatible, though.
I love what this mod does, but there is one small issue I am having. Regardless of my dead body count despawn edits, the dead power armor enemy bodies seem to disappear super fast while all the normal enemy bodies remain. I would like them to not disappear so quickly.
Hmm.. weird. They wear armor for me (tried at both low and high levels), you using any other mods that tampers with the Gunners gear? If so I can try and make it compatible with those mods.
Just wondering but could you make a version where the armor can be destroyed I'm using the Better Power Armor mod which makes power armor outright block damage making the enemies spawned by this mod invincible. Otherwise I think this is a great mod.
Just witnessed 3 Raider Dreadnoughts fighting a hoard of feral ghouls and Bloodbugs in the Glowing Sea. Watched the whole thing from a distance with my binoculars, and by the time I got there, they managed to kill each other. It was glorious.
