About this mod

Makes SweXavier05's Power Armored Enemies compatible with Raider Overhaul (and Raider Overhaul-R), drawing upon both to bring even more variety to raider power armor

Requirements
Permissions and credits
This is a compatibility patch to make SweXavier05's Power Armored Enemies work with Raider Overhaul and Raider Overhaul-R. This was specifically tested with v1.04 of SweXavier05's Power Armored Enemies and v12.4 of Raider Overhaul. If you are not using those versions, your mileage may vary.

Specifically, this is how it combines the two:
  • Once you are level 30, whenever a legendary raider spawns, it will either be a Dreadnought from Raider Overhaul or a power armored raider using Power Armored Enemies
  • Power armored raiders can either use one of the sets from Raider Overhaul, a rusty set with a mix of unpainted pieces, or a rusty set with a Raider Overhaul painted chest piece
  • Raider Overhaul's changes to the raider NPCs, allowing them to scale to the player's level, are carried forward to power armored raiders as well

Note that this patch makes the raiders' power armor destructible, even if you are not using the destructible power armor variant of Power Armored Enemies. Since Raider Overhaul's power armored enemies have destructible power armor, I figured this would be more consistent.

If you are using Power Armor to the People, you do not need this patch. Power Armor to the People includes its own patch for Raider Overhaul and its extended version of SweXavier05's Power Armored Enemies.

Compatibility
This only alters records that are conflicting between SweXavier05's Power Armored Enemies and Raider Overhaul, so it's compatible with whatever they are compatible with.

As for load order, just make sure this is lower down than both of the mods it patches. Consult the original plugins for any load order considerations specific to them.

Installation
Install with your favourite mod manager (highly recommended), or just copy the ESP into the Data folder in your Fallout 4 installation. It's just one file.

Installing this mid-playthrough should be completely safe, as should uninstalling this at any time. There are no scripts, and it just overrides some values that the original plugins touch. Please consult the original plugins if you are considering uninstalling them mid-playthrough, as that may not be safe.

Troubleshooting
If you do not seem to see this taking effect, make sure you are at least level 30 (when Power Armored Enemies starts spawning its legendary raiders). I have heard that some places that have recently spawned enemies may take 48 in-game hours to apply changes like this, so that's something to try, too. In my game, I fast traveled to a location I hadn't been to in a while and the enemies showed up right away.

Credits
All credit goes to the original mod authors, SweXavier05 for Power Armored Enemies and MadMAX713, Joemitchell320, Thirdstorm, KKthebeast, and MunkySpunk for Raider Overhaul. All I did was merge some data between the two to make them work together, nothing more. Please make sure to endorse the original mods and give kudos to those authors if you like their work!
