.223 Revolver REDUX
---------------------------

So here is my take on the classic heavy pistol of yore. You will notice that it isnt the one from blade runner. If you want that then DOOM has you covered: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/10669/?

While the Blade Runner prop was apparently the inspiration for this weapon, I personally never thought of it that way. I based my current design on how I imagined that weapon to be based on its in game description, and the low res inventory image that accompanied it.

When I first encountered it in Fallout 2 it was back in 1998. I didnt watch Blade Runner until 2006, and even then it didnt really click with me that was what it was meant to be.

So this is my "headcanon" version if you like. Just putting it out there so you dont have to spam the comments with messages about how my version of "that gun" "doesnt look right" or "isnt lore friendly".

So while im on a tangent, let me add some flavour:

This is a pistol unique to the commonwealth. It is custom made by the most talented gunner weaponsmiths as a badge of honour for the most veteran commanders. As such it will spawn on high level gunners, and high level raiders, because they could have killed a gunner and stolen the gun. etc... And in shops for the same reason really.

So there is a nice lore friendly reason for there to be more than one of these in existance ;D


Total mods include:

4 Barrels,
8 Recievers,
5 Muzzles,
4 Grips,
10 Sights that include 2 See through Combat Scopes (Thanks Henkspamadres!)
4 Materials,
4 Ammo Types,






Of the 4 Materials the default is rusted to shit. 223's with the rusted material suffer penalties of -25% damage and -50% range. You can fix this by crafting any other material. Take care of your weapons people.

Also of note in this weapon is the 2 types of reciever: Light and Heavy.

Heavy Recievers are single action, have far lower rate of fire but do WAY more damage. Light Recievers on the other hand are double action and very fast firing, at the cost of significantly less raw damage.

There are several versions of the main esp:

LOADS
Shop Only Spawns
LOADS+Shop Only Spawns

If you know me and my mods then you know what LOADS is, and the "Shop Only Spawns" version is pretty self explanatory: Weapon will only spawn in shops!


Concerning Consoles:

Installation:

--------------------

1. Make sure that your game is set up to play mods.

2. Download the main file.

3. Install with your mod manager of choice OR extract the contents of the archive to your 
    Fallout 4 "Data" Directory.

4. Activate "Skibs-223PistolRedux.esp", it can go anywhere in your load order. 

4a) If you are using "Loads of Ammo: Switchable ammunition types" by TheTalkieToaster then make sure to use   the replacement esp available from the downloads page. Install it over the main file and say "Yes" when asked to overwrite.

5. Start the game.

6. Smoke some fools.

The weapon will spawn on gunner bosses, raider bosses, in high level loot chests and in shop inventories from level 28 onwards. If you must have one immediately though you can spawn one via console.

To do this first open the console and type:

help 223 4 weap

This will show you the item code for the 223. Once you have the code then type:

player.additem xxxxxxxx 1

Where xxxxxxxx is the 8 digit item code.

A patch for Revolver Fanning is in the downloads section. It works alongside all versions of the main esp.

Replacement esp's that provide compatibility with the following mods are available in the downloads section under "optional":

AWKCR by valdacil

The see through combat scopes are fully standalone, but if you want to use them alongside the framework that will work as well.

There is no need for a merged patch as all leveled lists are now added via injector script, its just plug and play now.
