If anyone wants, in order to make this mod have a function for non-survival players, I could probably make it so the health values are converted to AP values, though it'd be a straight 100HP recovery=100AP recovery, if the item healed 100HP before. the whole point is to make it so the original food and drink items don't need to be modified, so whatever it healed in HP you'd recover in AP.

I also made a food mod, and I considered using this method. I ended up changing all the individual food records instead because the food healing magic effect is sometimes used for other things, especially by modders.
Well, seems to work as advertised. Tested with foods from Mojave's Imports, Wastelander's Cookbook, the DLCs, Better Cooking, etc, all function with 0% food healing.
Very nice, adds an extra challenge layer to Survival that is quite flavoursome!
