Image files should be in common\Fallout 4\Data\textures\PostersForYou If they are not there, your mod installer may have installed wrongly. Try doing a search (windows search should do ok) for a file named ( PostersForYou01.dds ) in the fallout 4 directory (common\Fallout 4\) See if it installed to the wrong directory. But if you don't find that file it may not have installed at all. That's the best help I can give.
I was having this problem, too. But I have a theory as to why, because I'm not having it now. There are two separate files for one poster: one that has the blue box with a number, and another in all black. I think I accidentally used two pictures for the same poster, by using one picture in the blue number file, and another in the all black file. After uninstalling the mod and reinstalling, I'm not having it now. If this helps, great. If not, I'm sorry.
I ran into this problem as well, so I looked up how to export DDS files. My problems were solved when I made sure that the alpha channel was added after flattening my image, and then checking the "generate mipmaps" option in the export dialogue.
Addendum: The mipmaps are not necessary, and in fact I think they created extra copies of a poster in my system. All you really need is to make sure that the alpha channel is active in the image. At least, that's what I'm concluding from my experimentation.
Great mod, thank you! Is there a tutorial for adding transparency? It says how to add the glow but doesn't say how to use the alpha channel, just that you can. Any pointers?
Great. Next question is how do you want add the transparency?
I just took a look at his .dds files. They have a transparency layer at the base. I checked this by using select tool to select the entire image. Cut. There's an alpha layer there. Double check by selecting in the top menu, "layer" then "transparency" then "add alpha channel""
That will work for dropping the image file you want to you.
If you're talking about making the background of your image transparent - then you use the "fuzzy select tool". Click on the color you wish to make transparent. Then do the layer - transparency - alpha channel. Then delete/cut the area

Available in 10 20 30 40 and 50 versions with glow layers so you can add glowing highlights to your posters.
They also have the ability to have transparency on the fronts and backs of the posters.
2.6 base files have been optimised.
Have fun
can someone help?

If anyone is interested - I've made a Settlement Menu Manager patch for this mod so that it has its own menu in the workshop.
I hope this helps!
