Explore the depths! Crush your enemies! Protect your children! Submersible Power Armor brings a brand new set of power armor to the Commonwealth, inspired by the iconic look of Bioshock's Big Daddies.
The new set also comes with some interesting new mods that enhance your ability to explore and travel underwater.
Rosie set: There has been talk of a crazy old scavenger who visited Diamond City. He spoke of a woman who appeared in a flash of light but no one believed him. He stopped to get some noodles and left a note behind. Perhaps it had something interesting on it...
Drill and Alpha set: The drill weapon is located at the Nahant Oceanological Society.
Bouncer set: You're starting to notice a pattern while finding permutations of the Submersible suit. You recall the lighthouse to the south, and more recently the coastal laboratory in Nahant. Your travels take you further north, to the only other lighthouse you know, and you gaze out to sea. Maybe those rock clusters and crashed boats hold another piece of the armour...
One full set of power armor inspired by Bioshock's Big Daddies, including 3 helmet variants inspired by Rosie, Alpha and Bouncer series Big Daddies. Features mods to boost movement speed, carrying capacity and breath supply while underwater. 3 custom headlamp FX with all 6 vanilla colour choices each. One new paint job inspired by how the Little Sisters perceive the Big Daddies. Support for all the vanilla paint jobs (except Hot Rod and Atom Cats and some factions for now) 2 new settlement objects, a retro-inspired poster and a little sister's doll. One drill weapon inspired by the one from Bioshock 2.
- There are hot rod paint jobs available for the armor, but they have no visual effect. I'm not sure how to un-link them but I may add Hot Rod paints in the future. - I managed to break the radio station in a previous update and can't seem to get it to return. A resource that shows what radio frequencies are used already could help ;-)
- Continue fixing bugs - More custom paint jobs. Columbia, Hop Up cola and Elite paint jobs are a possibility - More weapons. Planning either the Machine Gun or Rivet gun next
Version 1.7: Added a new Bouncer helmet, including headlamp colours. Added headlamp colour support for the Alpha helmet. Added new set to the game world. Version 1.6: Added new drill weapon. Finished Alpha helmet headlamp. Added support for vanilla paint jobs. Fixed AddOn Node conflicts w/ other PA mods. Can now repair Alpha helmet. Version 1.5: Added the first new paint job. Used FO4 Edit to clean up some dirty edits and remove crashing issues with mods like Spring Cleaning. Thanks to epochfx for the tips! Skipped versions .2 through .4 because .5 is better for more significant updates :P
Version 1.1: Moved location of power armor set closer to the lighthouse to avoid confusion. Added the little sister's doll as a constructible object. Changed radio frequency for 'Rapture Radio Fragment' to hopefully avoid conflict with OWR - Boston.
