I GET 5 COMMENTS A MONTH FROM PEOPLE WHO DIDN'T DO AS INSTRUCTED AND COME HERE COMPLAINING THEY HAVE "INTERIOR TURNING VOID" ISSUES. OTHER MODS THAT EDIT THE SAME INTERIORS (LIGHTING MODS, ENVIRONMENTAL MODS, MODS THAT ADDS THINGS TO INTERIORS) CAN CAUSE GLITCHING INTERIORS DUE TO HOW FALLOUT 4 IS PERFORMANCE OPTIMISED.
WRT the Far Harbor version: The textures.BA2 does not contain the Bobblehead Stand textures at the locations as specified by the NIF (some are missing entirely, I believe). I was able to correct the issue by extracting the missing files from the base version BA2 and then adding them into the Far Harbor version.
May I ask, do you happen to know if your mod is compatible with We Are The Minutemen? (reason I ask is because The Castle happens to be one of the locations I see you edited, so I figured I should ask.
Aside from that, I'm very interested in giving this mod a try in my next playthrough.
Hi! It should work. I am playing with aStoryWealth collection, and We are the Minutemen is part of it, and no issues so far on my end. ^^ Have fun! ^^ Edit : no problem so far, as long as you use the AiO file with entrance to the General Quarters into the tunnels. The individual file may cause issues.
EDIT : Oh well, nevermind. I downloaded the non-Far Harbour version (even if I DO have Far Harbour), and even if I still have floating candles in Railroad HQ, at least, Bobbleheads shelf has its texture applied correctly... I just disabled the freaking candles with console command, and that should do the trick. Sorry for bothering, and, well, wish you well! ^^
Hi Eli! Hope you're doing well! I wanted to ask if you are still thinking about upgrading your other Faction Housing Overhaul files. Let me explain (Gosh, I am soooo sure you're just going to ignore this because probably think I did something wrong, which may be the case, well anyway, I'll still going to write this thing... Sorry in advance! ^^ :P).
See, I have an issue with the all in one file in Railroad HQ. Some elements are not there, and, for example, the candles are hanging mid air without nothing underneath them, and the Bobbleheads stand is missing texture and is pink, like violently pink. When I'm using the individual file for Railroad HQ, everything is fine, no floating candles and bobbleheads stand just nice and beautiful...
So, you're going to tell me "Well go and use individuals files then", which I'd like to, BUT using Sim Settlements 2, the V. 1.1 General Quarters on the individual file page just destroy my SS2 layout, the entrance being over one of the SS2 plot...
So, I tried to install the all in one file for the General Quarters and others locations, and also installed the Railroad HQ individual file, added a group in Vortex to be sure that All in One and Railroad HQ individual will be loaded at the very end, I also triple checked for the individual Railroad HQ to load AFTER the All in One file, but nope, didn't work, Railroad HQ individual did not overwright the All in One, the floating candles are back, so is the vioently way too pink bobbleheads stand, and now, of course, I have a doubled door for the Railroad HQ room, lol.
So, after probably bothered you to death, I was just wondering if you are still planning on uploading updated files on the individuals pages. I'll make sure to keep my actual individual Railroad HQ file, because, as I already wrote, the one from AiO doesn't work for me, and be able to have General Quarters with tunnel entrance. Then, I'll download the other individuals, and will be able to go back to enjoy my game with your beautiful pieces of arts Faction Overhauls! ^^
If you made it to the end of this comment, thank you so much, an so sorry to have taken so much of your time to explain things. Hopefully, you will understand my baaaaad english, and may be able to answer me or help me fix the AiO on my side. ^^
Now i know removing mods mid playthrough is likely going to break/corrupt my save. But is this one safe to remove? Like i absoloutely adore this mod but idk. Im just not feeling to use it rn.
I mean it *SHOULD* be alright, you might experience some funkiness with object placement without it. Best bet is to backup your save, back up the mod, then remove the mod, see if it broke anything and save again. You can always go back to the save and the mod from before removal if things truly get messed up.
I’ll be cautious and not remove it then. Btw i fast travelled to the player home on rhe castle but the moment i exit the door the entire tunnel was an acid trip. Dw its at the bottom of my load order and i have no other mod that affects it. I checked,
im guessing the tunnels fixes itself once i actually secure the castle like one of the minutemen quests tell me to? I even made sure to load back to a save 3 minutes before entering the minutemen player home, and deleted the other save just to be sure.
Some other mod probably edits the area without explicitly saying so. That's usually why these graphic glitches happen, when two mods try to edit same area.
Got back into Fallout 4 with mods. Giving this mod a go and liking it so far. Running into a minor issue... I'm at my quarters in the Railroad HQ and the door message is backwards. When the door is closed, it says "Close Door" and when the door is open, it says "Open Door". I'm using the AIO version of this mod and yes, this mod is at the bottom. I'll use FO4Edit to see if I can fix it.
Even at the bottom of my load order no matter what theres always missing desks and furniture in the institute, Railroad HQ, and the door for the minutemen one isnt in a very opportune place being a user of the ODST mod (It is literally behind the door to the ODST facility)
More on this since theres no bug menu, I have discerned that it is purely just this mod that is causing missing furniture problems even with it at the bottom of your load order. I even went into XEdit to fix the conflicts myself and they still persist, but when this mod is removed everything works perfectly
I made my mod on 2016. The ODST mod didn't take this one into account, then.
There's another mod that adds Vis or Precomb files for the Institute probably and breaks the cell because multiple mods cannot edit the same cell without conflicts.
For those with the pink Bobble head shelf. The issue was the Far Harbor version is missing the textures in the BSA. I extracted them from the other version using BSA Browser found here on the Nexus and then manually add that textures folder to the Data folder of my Fallout 4 install.
anyone else getting a crash with OCdecorator? scanning my crashlogs shows 34 plugin suspects with the Eli_Faction Housing overhaul - Aio.esp any ideas?
