IMPORTANT NOTES - READ FIRST (if you haven't already)

No quest triggers, character spawn points, or idle markers have been harmed in the creation of this mod. Blind Betrayal will play as per usual, the turrets and protectrons will still attack you. The only difference is that Danse may choose to approach you through the doorway now instead of through the cave when you get there.

It is highly recommended that you install the interior part of this mod BEFORE you enter the bunker for the first time if you plan on keeping Danse alive. Installing it after will not break anything, but Danse's bed and other furniture added after the quest completion may end up in their original positions and will look out of place.

The walkways in the cave are scrappable, but you should never remove them - the cave floor underneath is not fit for walking, so don't ever use the 'scrapall' command in there. I used the workshop version of the floors on purpose, to let you easily snap on balcony railings/walls/more floors to the edge if you so choose.

Place both files as low in your load order as possible to avoid conflicts with other mods that may edit these areas.

Mods created with the CK and cleaned with FO4Edit. I did my best to playtest them and make sure they are bug free. If you encounter any problems, let me know!

I'm going to be straight forward, this is an amazing mod and it makes an excellent pair with the Flyable Personal Vertibird mod, except there is one problem. Since the exterior is not a full settlement the Vertibird won't return to base and drop its cargo off at the workshop. I talked with the author of that mod and he said that a script applied to the workbench would need to be added for it to be a full settlement. Could you please make the exterior a full settlement. If not, then can we get your permission to make the edit ourselves.

And Conquers is out of the question since it is incompatible with Sim Settlements 2 and I have no idea if that would work with FPV anyway.

You could start from reading the mod's description. It is clearly written there that this is not a full settlement so you will not be able to send anyone there. The mod just allows you to decorate it.

    I have the same
problem as Firox14. Everything was great until maybe the 5th or 6th time I used the elevator to go up, the doors didn't open at the top. The only way to get out of the elevator was to quick travel out. Now, when trying to enter the elevator from outside to go down into the bunker, the doors will not open. I think it might be the exterior mod that is causing this since the problem is at the top of the elevator shaft. I'm going to go back to an old save and not install the exterior portion of the mod. I'll report back here after a while.

Must be one of the main game updates that's caused it. Or an update to one of the other mods. I'm running it on a very old version of the game that I keep offline to avoid updates and it works just fine. Anyway, do keep me posted when you can, and if removing the exterior mod fixes it for you, I'll just remove it from the downloads. And thanks for the report!

I'm quite embarrassed that it's taken me so long to reply with my findings. I simply forgot about this when I decided to play a different game. I'm so sorry. I did discover that installing the interior modification ONLY does not create the problem with the elevator. Only the exterior modification.

I've tried several times to download this file; I went through the NMM and tried manual, tried both files individually to see if one worked but not the other; erased and restarted them; etc...
It errors out every time, showing a status of "Incomplete" and the it was unable to finish downloading. Has anyone else had this problem? I tried searching through the comments but didn't come up with anything.

I'm afraid it must be something on your end. I just downloaded both files manually and via NMM, and had a friend do the same, we managed without any problems. Try disabling anti virus software for a moment, if you're running any, they sometimes have that effect on even reputable download sites. You could also try using a different browser. I know my Chrome sometimes flips out with downloads that Firefox handles just fine.

    Amazing!

I am so glad I found this. Thank you for making it.

Unfortunately I've already put a workshop here using conquest and built out the interior, and I'm on survival so don't have pre-build saves.

Do you think I can scrapall and remove workshop then install your mod without any trouble?

Also, I think I read your text right... I can use this before I do the BoS quest ya?

But since Ive already loaded the zone I may have some Danse furniture bugs once I do the quest?

Yes, you can absolutely use it before doing the BOS quest, all quest triggers and markers are left intact so the mod will not interfere with anything.

I think it's perfectly safe to remove the conquest workshop and then install mine, at least I have done that with my other mod in another location and there didn't seem to be any negative consequences for the game, but it's a Bethesda game engine, so unfortunately I can't 1000% guarantee anything here. Sorry.

Oh, and remember to never use scrapall after you install my mod - it will remove everything I put in the cave as well.

Thanks! I ended up being reckless and installing this even with the conquest workshop still in place.

Seemed to work fine! I just disbanded the conquest one after.

I've actually just finished my. Buildout too! I'll share pics tomorrow. Thanks again!

Oh. I ended up disabling the desks/electronic consoles/chairs/filing cabinets left behind. Hope that doesnt cause too much trouble with bos quest... But I may not do the quest anyhow.

The only thing that can - technically - cause any trouble if removed is the bed, because it would break Danse's patrol routine for when you are not there. Even then, the quest should still work as intended, he will just stand awkwardly in the middle of the room instead of moving around.

As for the furniture... again, the bed may be returned to its original position, but since you deleted everything else around it, there shouldn't be a problem with clipping. I'm not sure how the stuff that appears in the cave after you complete the quest will behave, but if it works as intended, it should just spawn normally on top of the floor I added.

Generally, it's impossible to remove any quest important stuff like triggers through a workshop mode, so no matter what you do there, the quest itself should work fine. If any furniture appears sunk into the ground or out of place, moving it through workshop should do the trick. Fingers crossed.

From what I understand the bed appears, as does a new chamber, once Danse occupies the bunker. However for me those areas are still closed off and I found no bed when I first came in to this zone. I see where you added the wooden flooring tho, it's behind a dirt wall beyond the farthest room. I'm assuming that's where the chamber is.

I tried ~disabling the wall to gain early access, which worked, but there were no other walls or roof so it was just clip/texture-tear town.

Doesn't matter though, your mod let me really use the space to it's fullest potential! Can't thank you enough.

Ah, yes. I completely forgot that area is closed off until Danse moves in, apologies. Which is good news, since it means the bed and everything else should be placed properly.

Oh thank the mod gods I found this for my new play through. It REALLY bothered me to think of leaving Danse down there all by himself in worse than a slum. I once tried to drop a portable workshop to fix it up a little but it didn't let you delete most of the objects. I was so frustrated. He deserves better than that!

    Thank you!

Great mod, I needed a helipad settlement! One problem I have is there seems to be an invisible marker right outside the ground level entrance that makes NPCs start kneeling down. Any chance to remove it?

This marker "belongs" to Danse's Blind Betrayal quest - he uses it if you select certain dialog options, so it's best to leave the marker there just in case. I'd rather not risk breaking the quest.
