It's probably a long shot, but does anyone know what part in the unzipped contents of the .pak file makes unsuppressed guns not summon virals?
I actually kind of liked that feature in the vanilla game, since it required making a decision between making things easy now for more threat later. You know, like the opening cutscene. But also I like the other parts of the mod.
Is there a way to change the sensitivity of the crosshair? I confess that the only reason I don't use firearms in this game is because the aiming sensitivity is very low.
@signette I went hunting for you. It seems that the folder these mods lie in the data0.pak file, so at least you have that. It seems though, that simply replacing the individual files themselves will still prompt the game to crash after you click Continue in the main menu.

Also, could you make it so that air drops drop just as frequently? I didn't notice any drop in my game, or maybe that was sheer chance.
I've been using this mod (which, I might say, is a very nice mod) with the weather combo, however it seems that the new 1.40 update which added Rust items broke something as the game with this mod added just crashes after loading the save and getting into the game. Tried weather mod separately and the game runs fine.
I've tried this mod, and upon trying the Virals would show up even when gunfire wasn't shot, and they'd rampage into me. I've tried removing the data 3 pak and replacing it with the original, but I keep getting pumbled with Virals. Does someone know how I can fix this, please?
Oh man, saw this mod got updated and was so excited to try it, but it looks like Dying Light got updated yet again! Apparently, GOG messed up their last patch and it broke some things (the 1.20 patch) and so there is a new version -- 1.21. My game crashed anyway when I tried using this on the 1.21 version. Unless I'm doing something wrong or something.
If you could combine an updated version of this mod with lockpicking removal, that would be awesome! That is the only other mod I use "Lockpicking Minigame Removal" and I would very much like to have both of these mods working but am not a technical person so if possible I would like to see a new version of this mod which also includes lockpicking mini-game removed. If not, no problemo, but would still like to see an updated version of this mod. (and I am officially turning off GOG updates to this game at this point, lol)
Updated. Man, I can't keep up with their game updating pace, seriously... I'm not even playing this actively. Thought it's an old game, so they would leave it alone and concentrate on DL2, but they keep messing up file structures with new updates over and over, so I have to hunt for new added lines and re-edit manually whole stuff...
hello, thanks for the wonderful mod, your GIH-DWET Merged doesn't seem to working with the new update I get a crash after loading screen just before you start playing. please update it I find this combo GIH-DWET Merged is a must have.
Hmm, I just tested it in both original campaign and The Following, game loaded normally, ran around, shot/hit stuff, no crashes.
Just to make it clear, does non-merged version work for you without crashing? Are you 100% sure you use latest game and mod version? When does it crash exactly? On game load or during gameplay? Which campaign if latter?
I would like to try this mod - seems well thought out and useful - but it doesn't seem to be working on the latest GOG version 1.18. I think the mod needs to be updated.
Big thumps up for the detailed description of the mod's features and for it working well. This really makes it stand out from most other Dying Light mods. I have a request though: Can you also remove the notifications for "unspent skill points" and "you can craft a new item" and their sounds? The hudless2k18 mod does this but it also removes all the useful things like health.
