New to Eternal Modding, i think ive installed this correctly via vortex but cant seem to see any of them working. Example Ice Bomb still has a very long CD not 20s... any information you would recommend for enabling mods?
What's Vortex ? Just drop the .zip file in the Mods folder and run the Eternal Mod Injector.

Here's what I read in the DOOM Eternal modding Hub:
The Vortex launcher is Nexus Mods' graphical mod manager. From what veteran modders can tell, they claim to "support" DOOM Eternal yet it doesn't run the mod injector. They said you can disable the mod manager button by doing this:
go to your NexusMods page(s) "Manage Files -> Manage -> Edit Details -> File options" and check the "Remove the 'Download with manager' button" for each mod.
I suggest you disable it so that people learn how to install mods rather than be mislead into thinking this program takes care of the mod installation process.
I had no idea about that option. I've never used it and really had no idea what it did or that it could be turned off. Thanks for the heads up. I removed it.
Hi there. I haven't used this mod myself, but I recently helped a Linux user install this mod. This person had trouble with it because of some errors in your english.json file.
Line 18 is missing a comma.
Line 19 should be an opening bracket.
There are missing closing brackets, both a square one and the other one, at the end of your file.
At least two of these three errors crash the alternative DOOM Eternal mod loader for Linux users, please fix them. I believe the english.json in gameresources_patch2 is also causing crashes, but you can delete that one since the game only reads language banks from gameresources_patch1.
There are also missing commas in EternalMod.json, but these are not fatal though. The english.json one is the one causing this mod to be unusable by some players.
Sorry for the late reply. I haven't checked this page in a while. I'm not really a programmer, so I had no idea about these. Thanks for the heads up.
Those files should have never been there. They're completely unnecessary. This was my first mod and I didn't even know what they were for, at the time, lol. They've been removed and the latest version has been updated. Anyone downloading earlier versions can just delete the EternalMod folders from gameresources_patch1 & 2. Problem solved. EternalMod.json is just there to give credit where credit is due and load priority. Which seems to be working.
Very cool mod, gives you just enough tweaks to help you through master levels that are super tough. Also good to use when you're playing the game randomized. Great job thanks for posting it. Possible candidate for mod of the month
This is awesome man! Let me know if you want my old mod which add funny knockback and extra damage to the default melee, this is just a few things short of an updated version of my KaiserTweaks mod. (Had to discontinue it due to not having the time to maintain)

Also it would be super easy to separate each of the changes
