It asks for advanced options, deselecting what I already had selected. Negates the whole reason I downloaded this mod. I wanted to be able to press restart without having to configure anything because it would all be copied over. I guess the reason this might be failing is that I'm using "Ludicrous" size maps (from a mod) with 30+ city-states (try 60 but can never get that many) and 24 civilizations (All civs + DLC)
so I guess... in the end... this probably works best with the main game. Can update pls? lol
Perhaps you could update the mod to use the same seed - i.e. A way to restart the same game exactly as it was on turn zero. This would be very useful (I'm currently faffing around extracting the seed from a save file) and also keep the mod alive now that Civ VI has a restart button
Any idea why I extract the file to Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization VI and it doesn't show up in game? I have no restart option when I'm playing the game. Also worth mentioning - When I extracted the files to that destination, it didn't have me overwrite anything.
THANK YOU Remgrandt for the update! The game is such a pain in the ass to play without your mod, we really appreciate you keeping it updated until they finally add this feature to the game!
I haven't played Civ VI since January, so I haven't kept up with updates. The mod is currently up to date now and should work for all the advanced features (provided you aren't trying to restart from a saved game). Honestly, I am surprised this mod is still needed since the restart button existed in Civ V and was planned in the original Civ VI development (one of my changes is enabling the already existing UI element, after all).
BTW - I pretty much ignore bug reports related to using an out of date version of the mod with an incompatible release of the game... because that's just not going to work.

Is there a chance that you could make it work in multiplayer ?
